After I found my software would use AI to convert text to speech, I decided I had to do a short episode about Imposter Syndrome using this tool to generate the entire episode.
This is presented without edit. I find it funny to see what it created. Plus it is interesting to see the accent that it decided to use.

This is an update on where I am and what I am doing. There is a new name and a new company .
I will start a weekly update on the progress to my goals. Take this as a journal of my ups and downs of the pursuit of dreams...
What are your dreams for 2023?
I share a few of mine and why it is important to say what they are.

This month I did a crazy Ultra Marathon. I completed 28 miles. I will be talking quite a bit more on this in several episodes.
This was originally the second episode, but due to the audio file getting screwed up for the last episode I had to delete it.
I talk about the stability problems I experienced during the race and all the tripping. This is then related to life.
Does your internal image match your real self? I can say mine does not match, but I am working on it. This is a topic I will be revisiting quite a bit in the next couple of months.
Have you ever seen somebody that seems to be able to see everything? Are they rarely started or surprised?
In this quick episode I talk about some basics of this skill.
Is it bad to break things?
Last week I taught a group how to break boards. This led to an insightful reflection.
What if there were a guaranteed formula you could follow to achieve success?
Guess what. There is. It is also very simple.
In this episode I go through this simple formula. I also discuss why, if it is so simple, not everybody follow it.
Ever heard someone say something that seems different than you understand?
Recently I heard a friend use a phrase different than I use it. Which way is right? Does it matter? And why is it important to understand where people are coming from?
The people that we spend our time with has a large effect on our lives. Find good people that will support and build you up.
I was asked a very interesting question this past week. What am I still holding on to?
This provides a wonderful opportunity for reflection.
This is an old episode that I am reposting here. This is the birth mom of my youngest daughter. She has been a big blessing in our lives. She also has a very interesting story.
This was recorded during the pandemic and we talk about the effects the lockdown had in Hawaii.
In this episode I am joined by Elizabeth Lizz Ashby
In many ways she is the perfect example of the Warrior Mentality. She talks about her life and how she has moved from living life on the couch to completing over a hundred official races.
In this episode I am joined by Mark Petersen.
I also met mark through the Radio Ronin network. He is here to share his story. His story is quite interesting and has a lot of twist, turns and many side quests. He is a very interesting guy that has overcome quite a bit. Everything from Sumo wrestling to becoming a lawyer.
He also has some great advice learned through his journeys across the world.
This episode guest is Joanna Reeder.
I connected with Joanna through the Radio Ronin podcast network. She volunteered to share her story so the members of the Ronin Family could get to know her and hear her story.
She has a very interesting story. If you listen closely to her story there are so many examples of good success tips.
She is a bestselling author and has several books she has authored. While her story is interesting for anybody, there are some great tips for anybody interested in writing.
You can find out more about Joanna on her website https://www.joannareeder.com/
She is also a co-host of the Reading Queens podcast
It's been a while since an episode. This contains an update on what has been happening.
Plus my story of running a 5K in January. This ended with me jumping into a frozen lake.
Snooty and Slackjaw are hosts of their own restaurant review podcast. They also have their own ice cream company JJ's Ice Cream.
Over the past year Jeff (Snooty) has lost a considerable amount of weight and has moved into a much healthier lifestyle. He shares his story and how JimBob (Slackjaw) has been a support to him, and helped him improve also.
It was interesting to hear the mental changes they have made. They also share what it is like eating healthy, but still reviewing restaurants and running an ice cream company.

As an athlete moves to the next level the competition is bigger and faster. The competition is too fast for them to perform. As they gain experience the game slows down.
This is an episode that I recorded last year for another podcast. I am moving it to here.
This episode has Coach Blu and his wife Marissa from Addict II Athlete. They give a history of the organization. The audio quality was a little rough. Coach Blu's audio was very quiet and had to be amplified. This actually allowed his wife Marissa to share a lot more.
They are still always looking for donations. They will be needing funds for their annual Project Elf project. They help provide Christmas for those in need. Even a small donation can help.
Take some time to learn about them and consider supporting their cause.

This is an interview I did for a previous podcast. It was done during the summer of 2020 when the Black Lives demonstrations were at their height. Jonas is a friend of mine that grew up in New Orleans and currently lives in Utah. We talk about what life is like as an African-American living in Utah. Because this was during 2020 we talk about life during heavy pandemic lockdown.
Quick episode. What happened when I was so emotionally caught up in a scenario I couldn't think clearly
In this episode I am joined by endurance athletes Jarom and Heath Thurston. They recently served as support crew for a runner doing the Badwater Ultra Marathon which bills it's self as the worlds toughest footrace.
They share their experience of what it is like to dedicate so much time and effort to helping another person fulfill their goal and dream. This takes a different motivation and mindset from being the runner.
In this episode we hear the story of Brock Bevell.
Brock is a former police officer. He shares his story of addiction and recovery. This is truly an amazing story of will and dedication. Now he dedicates his life to serving and helping first responders.
He has a podcast dedicated to this topic. Chase the Vase Podcast

He also has a challenge to help kick start change. It can be found at fightlikedavid.com
This is the story of Cynthia. She shares what life is like as a member of the LGBTQ community as a member if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This is an interview I did for another podcast. I am consolidating into this one. I have chosen this time to share due to the celebration of Pride and LGBTQ+ individuals.
While there are those that try to use this celebration for political reasons, the vast majority are simply celebrating their lives. Take some time to get to know your neighbors, friends and family who identify with this group. You can start here by hearing Andy's story. He is a great guy
This is an interview I did with Josh Hansen of the Radio Ronin podcast for a different podcast. I am migrating these to this podcast.
This is a great story of personal transformation.
Today I am joined by my co-host Sadie, one of our Yorkshire Terriers. (You can hear her tags jingling in the back and her scratching the door)
This is an introduction to the leadership theories I will be discussion over the next several episodes.
There is no editing on this episode. My computer is down and I recorded this on my phone.
Do you have a superpower? What is it?
Truth is we all have something we do well and better than others. How can you use this ability?
What is the effect of connection? A quick look at President Trump and the effect of connection. (Don't worry it isn't too political)
Also what gets in the way of us connecting with others.
We all deal with disappointment. While the feeling is natural and valid we tend to be too harsh on ourselves.
Explanation of the new direction for the podcast. The current stories will be finished and this will be used in conjunction with my new program
