31 years old, Head Saleswoman. In this episode Clare describes the trials and tribulations she has faced throughout her life, from being adopted to breaking down in her car as she came to realise how ill she had become with anorexia. After experiencing what seemed to be a momentary death as she drowned in a rip tide on a holiday in New Zealand, Clare explains how from that moment on, death became anything but scary. We talk about what life is like loosing a parent to cancer at a young age and the belief that your spirit leaves your body upon dying. Clare ends the podcast by reminiscing on her childhood in Wales and how blissful those days free of technology were.
19 years old, Psychology Student. There is nothing better than a good old trip down memory lane! In this episode I chat with my long time dance buddy Belle! Belle begins the episode by sharing what brings her joy in life and how Covid has reminded her of the simple lesson to live in the moment (especially now that pubs have re-opened!). She continues to describe the importance of home as well as staying in contact regularly, regardless of location. Belle gives her opinion on fame and fortune and whether it has ever appealed to her ... and finally, Belle and I reminisce about our dance days and how choreographing the Junior school musical was the highlight of our school career!

This calming conversational episode takes a look into Roger's life and how Nikos Kazantzakis' Zorba the Greek made him aware of his own lack of spontaneity as well as shining a light on the importance of the small things in life, whether that be a freshly baked loaf of bread or a beautiful sunset. Roger candidly shares his inability to negotiate and the importance of a kitchen table wherever he dwells, whether that be physical or metaphorical. Roger shares the remarkable tale about his father, who after becoming a paraplegic as a result of a plane crash, was able to not only walk again, but able to have a family, after being told that would be impossible. The episode ends with a comment on the confusing drinking culture the U.K cultivates, and reality that unfortunately, life is not fair.
19 years old, Podcast Host. So to mark reaching my 20th episode and after popular demand, I have decided to record my own episode! I have been as honest and truthful as possible because I want to show everyone that if I can do it, anyone can. There are some high and low moments in this episode, but above all it just highlights how human I am and how normal I am. I hope you enjoy this episode (sorry for how long it is!) and it inspires you to do one yourself. 18 years old, University Student !LOCKDOWN EDITION! This episodes gives us an insight into a university student's life during the global pandemic and how she stays afloat during these strange times. Having experienced lockdown both at home and at uni, during summer and during winter, Annabel speaks about the differing experiences. On a positive note, Annabel details everything she has been able to do, given the amount of free time she has acquired, such as knitting, reading and even becoming a cocktail connoisseur! I hope this episode can give you a few ideas if you are struggling at home and like we said, the end is nigh, 21st June is fast approaching!
30 years old, Teacher. The second half of Salimatou's interview tackles the perception of the self in contrast with how others view you and to what extent their opinions about you matter. Through answering two similar questions, where your own self has the potential to be compromised, Salimatou emphasises how important it is to trust in yourself, to believe in yourself and mostly importantly to be willing to grow and improve yourself. Having an ego only stands in the way of progression!
30 years old, Teacher. The first half of Salimatou's interview really focuses on the question of identity and what it was like to grow up in both Paris, a more multicultural hotspot, as well as in Étréchy, a rural setting. This leads onto the greater topic of racism and xenophobia, where Salimatou gives her own opinion on the matter and how Paris, as a city, is not perfect. The specificities of France's constitution, such as universalism and assimilation, unveil the prominent inequalities within France, something which must be changed by politicians. However, she also praises her country and reminds us to stay positive and to not focus on the negatives, but to look to the future and to find the light at the end of the tunnel.
19 years old, University Student. Bailey initiates this episode with his experience of love and its overwhelming and addictive nature that comes with it. His hardworking and motivated attitude is beyond admirable as he reminds us that failure is the key to success and that success is not a stationary position - there is no end! Bailey talks about life with divorced parents and how the best moment of his life was a bitter sweet reunion he received after fostering a win ... Above all, this episode shines a light on motivation, dedication and the absolute belief that things can and will change.

Yes, that's right, Alex enlightens us not only with her favorite word, but the importance of them, along with an explanation of the kinds of words she likes. Her childhood anecdotes reveal who ignited her love for a specific accessory ... High School Musical? Alex questions whether she would wan't to be her best friend, or stick to her current life if she had the choice and ends the podcast by talking about a deeply personal event that happened in her life and what she learnt from her experiences with grief.

Her electric views on how the world could be a better place must be heard as they tackle issues from all walks of life. We discuss the paradoxical nature between internal monologues and how others perceive you and ultimately Imi reminds us all to be kind to ourselves as we would be to our friends.
19 years old, College Student. Carly takes us on an Odyssey in this episode as she recounts tales from her England days. Profoundly captivating, she talks about a life-changing decision which threw her across the globe. Whilst reminiscing about the 'good ol' days', Carly bravely opens up about her struggles with mental health at a young age and talks about a book which comforted her during that tricky time. Carly leaves us with an all important message as she gives us a very raw insight into her first real relationship, one that we must not forget.

In the first episode of 2021, Lawrie covers all different areas of life, starting with his attraction to flowy and ethereal sundresses, to his claims that 'unfunny' men died out due to survival of the fittest. Using a strategic and classic P.E.E method, Lawrie is able to back up all his statements with various bits of evidence. His candid and open approach to talking about his relationship with christianity promises for a great episode.
I'M BACK! AND BETTER THAN EVER!
With it being a new year I have decided to pull myself together and continue the podcast. I have updated some of the questions and hope to have a range of different people on! This is a little intro/trailer for you to hear me solo and to show my excitement for the new year and what is to come for the podcast. ENJOY!
23 years old, MA student. Chris opens up answering with complete honesty about his days at school, and the most important values he took away from his time there. His responses, supported by his knowledge on politics, allow for a logical conversation, which brings to light his stance on social media. Like many others, death has not coerced Chris into experiencing feelings of fear, but rather makes him think about the well-being of those around him.
26 years old, MA student. This episode shares both the personal battles of growing up as a child of immigrant parents in the classroom, but more importantly her personal growth after learning from these challenging experiences. This leads onto highlight the different layers to the term privilege, and how Maria is undecided as to whether or not she sees herself as privileged. Her motivational and didactic narrative reminds us that failure is essential for longterm success and personal development.

Over the Adriatic and into an Italian Casa, this episode voices the life of an expatriate who leads their existence with a laidback attitude and lives in harmony with nature - neither overruling it it, nor trying to control it. Her vibrant years have seen two self-curated businesses and her capability of self-sustainability shines through. Touching on her years at school along with family advice, Louise follows her own gut and is the definition of the Italian dream.
17 years old, Yr 13 Student. This episode gives an insight into a younger mindset and the reckless nature of a teen approaching adult life. She describes her wish to live anything but a boring life and in her view children are a contributing factor which cause the slip into a normal and average life. Equally, Celia voices her opinion on school and social media and how on the whole they are both positives, however there are definitely some much needed improvements.
48 years old, Teacher. In this episode my guest radiates complete joy as she describes her happiest moment in life, which contrasts greatly with the morbid inevitability of death and what role that has played in her life. Her response to privilege is refreshing and eye-opening and reminds us of the futility of guilt and how it is a feeling we must not give in to.
53 years old, PA at The Vyne. This extremely personal episode places emphasis on the importance of the little things in life and how family and friends are, at the end of the day, the most important parts of life. An exceedingly selfless perspective ties in with an ever-present ability to push herself out of her comfort zone, regardless of age, as well as lightheartedly expressing a love for meal times and mornings!
23 years old, Sourcing Executive. The first male perspective gives an interpretation of the meaning of guilt and privilege. His opinion on optimism touches on the importance of having a positive outlook on life, as well as commenting on the harsh stereotype of being part of 'the snowflake generation'.
18 years old, Student. This episode shines a light on the views of a girl on the threshold of adulthood. Her perspective on death and boarding school illustrate her maturity as well as delving into the real meaning of home. But also not forgetting the fun loving nature of living a wild life at 18, despite the pandemic!
53 years old, Mother of two. The first episode gives an insight into a middle classed mum - her thoughts on death and privilege, alongside her personal story of going to Italy at 17 and the ways in which it influenced her life.
