Making Kayfabe are two published writers, venomously angry at the wrestling world, who set out to analyse and re-book a plethora of it’s biggest mistakes.
Bryce & Dylan zero-in on undeniable failures such as Kurt Angle‘s Retirement, Mr. McMahon’s Limo Explosion, AEW Women’s Division, the NWO in WWF, John Cena‘s Heel Turn, and much more, with the goal to rewrite them in a satisfying way that MAKES SENSE.
The show features comedy, painstaking research into the subject matter, but most of all it features sensible resolutions to some of the most blatant ball-drops in history. Every episode is self-contained, too, so you don’t have to listen to them “in order.”

In 2012, a pre-Shield Dean Ambrose confronted Mick Foley on camera at a Wrestlemania Axxess event. The feud never went beyond that confrontation... but what if it did?
This one has been coming for a long time. When we first came up with the Making Kayfabe podcast, we had 10 episodes each in mind. "Mick Foley vs Dean Ambrose" was on Bryce's, and after reading Moxley's autobiography, he's finally written it!
This is also a first time appearance on the podcast for Mick Foley. We've wanted to fit Foley in for a while and we hope this does him justice.

Aces & Eights are perhaps one of the most polarising factions in wrestling history. Some loved them, some hated them, rarely with anything in between. Paul Burchill was an insanely talented professional wrestler who was victim of WWE's limited patience of the mid-2000's. We at Making Kayfabe LOVED his pirate gimmick back in '06, and think it could have went a lot further than the 4 months WWE gave it. Strap in, it's time for another swashbuckling re-booking.

We. Love. Sean. O'Haire. As confirmed by our listeners in a Twitter poll (@MakingKayfabe - come join the fun!), Sean O'Haire is a HUGE missed opportunity from wrestling's past.
In late 2003, vignettes started to air featuring Sean O'Haire playing a "devil's advocate" role. He'd convince you to cheat on your partner, he'd convince you to not pay your taxes, stop following your religion, break the law, etc etc etc. The intense promos lasted 30 seconds each but are still ingrained in mind of wrestling fans nearly two decades later, especially since the gimmick was scrapped after two weeks. A constant subject of criticism for AEW is the booking of its Women's Division. Since it's inception, the Women's Championship didn't really get a whole lot of focus, and many storylines involving it left fans wanting more. Remember when the Radicalz stormed the WWF in 2000? They were all the rage at the time after leaving WCW due to terrible booking. In the group was Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit who both went on to achieve huge success, and then there was Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn who... kinda didn't. Let's face it, CM Punk is great. The Pipebomb promo leading into the 5* match with John Cena, to Punk's return, everything was great. But then... things sort of sizzled.
