"Just Folks" is a comfortable space for people to share, based on spiritual principles, their personal stories of victories, challenges, setbacks, accomplishments, observations, and teachable moments.
There are times in each of our lives that we simply don't know what to do or where to turn for support. That's when a trustworthy, objective voice can make all the difference.
So allow me to introduce just such a person: Peagan Twitty, a certified life coach who has knowledge, empathy, and a desire to serve others. Peagan never claims to have all the answers, but she certainly knows which questions to ask, as well as where to find the answers. You will be glad you decided to contact Peagan at (410) 259-6674 to chat, Facetime, or text, and peagantwitty@gmail.com.

Hi Folks.
There's a saying that everything old is new again. Well, in this delightful episode of "Just Folks: Conversations with Emma", three former friends reunite and discover how true that saying can be. Marjorie Schenk, Kathy Jensen Quinn and I, graduates of the same high school, had not literally seen each other for fifty years--until our fiftieth high school reunion a few years ago.
Join us as we travel back in time to reflect on our past adventures as well as our future plans. You will be fascinated (and tickled) by the individual journeys and observations, as we share our divergent experiences through the years.

Hi Folks.
We all face challenges--that's unavoidable these days. But the question is this: are you ready for the lesson contained within, or will you be "defeated?" My next guest, Wanda T. Brown has faced seeming hardships, but she always rises to the top with an insight that makes her a powerful demonstration of faith in action. Wanda's life is a fascinating journey that is getting into higher and higher gears.
Every mountain top she climbs leads her to another vista. I promise that you will become a member of the Wanda T. Brown fan club by the end of our conversation. In this episode, Wanda and I conducted a simulcast on Facebook live as we recorded this interview.
You can follow Wanda on Facebook (Wanda T. Luck), Instagram (wtbenterprises.info), and YouTube.

Hi Folks.
There's nothing like chatting with an old friend whom you've known for what seems like forever. The truth is, I have known this friend for most of my life and all of hers: she is my younger sister and only sibling, Sheila Sembly-Crum, otherwise known as my "Brand New Baby Sister". Sheila and I have had numerous adventures, of course, but I want you to get to know her as the amazing adult she has become. Sheila has a true gift for helping others to find and use their inner strength for healing, particularly when they are facing physical pain. Sheila and I recorded this conversation on a lovely spring afternoon in April, which is significant for both of us as April is her birth month. Ah...I remember it well. and you will, too. LOL. So listen and enjoy.
Folks, meet Sheila Sembly-Crum, wellness advocate extraordinaire.
Feel free to contact Sheila at (443) 794-0405 and wellness1ssc@gmail.com.

Hi Folks.
Consider this truism: You never know who a child will grow up to be. (Some of us can apply that to ourselves, and our lives have become a journey of discovery.)
This is certainly the case for the compelling, in-depth conversation I had with Calvin Lloyd Alston, the multi-faceted actor, playwright, artist, and author of a three-book series called Days of My Youth in Baltimore.
I encourage you to find a comfortable space to sit and join us as Calvin charmingly shares his adventures, misadventures, and moments of challenging triumphs. You will meet his family members and friends, gain insights into Baltimore culture, and appreciate the spiritual foundation that has brought him this far by faith.
Calvin, by the way, grew up to be the proud dad of two sons, one of whom is the brilliant, classically trained pianist, Bryan Alston, (whom you met in a previous episode of Just Folks Conversations with Emma), as well the husband of Alicia. In May 2021, Alicia and Calvin will celebrate 40 years of wedded bliss, quite an accomplishment, these days.
And you, no doubt, will want to get your copy of each delightful book, personally autographed by Calvin himself. Simply contact him directly at (410) 624-8872, (410) 435-4625, or cal9811610@aol.com.

Hi Folks.
How have you fared during the visitation of Ms. Rona? You know who (or what) I'm talking about: COVID-19. We've all been touched in some way--directly or indirectly.
In this episode, we are graced with the presence of Francesca Nock, a dear family friend, who talks about her experience of the pandemic as it has impacted life in the Sunshine State of Florida. When we recorded this conversation, it was cold and dreary here in Baltimore, and Spring Break was just about to happen on those inviting, but highly contagious, Florida beaches. However, Francesca managed to find a safe, lovely outdoor setting to sit and share some of that famous Florida sunshine, as well as her observations. You are going to gain insights that you may not have previously considered.
Enjoy.
