I did something to my inner ear and got crazy nausea, so I recorded this while lying down with nothing else to do. Ruminate on writing and what qualifies skill or creativity, while intermittently pausing to groan.

I reminisce about the long-distant, pre-COVID 19 times of one year ago, and go into a bit about how I miss traveling, but also recognize the inherent silliness of romanticization. Also touch on my existential despair.

i talk about the unus annus project and the concept of memento mori, as a person whose anxiety makes it difficult to put creative works out into the world. this involves long-winded stories about college-level writing classes, ostensibly to illustrate my point.
so, i moved! i’m renting a little house now. we cut it so close to the wire that i still have stress dreams about finding a rental before my lease is up - we’ll see if i ever get around to uploading the episodes i recorded during that time. for this one, i talked about some of the moving process, minecraft youtubers, and my experiences with hypixel skyblock. i was also interrupted quite a bit by my cat - i don’t really think she enjoys my podcasting :)
