On this episode, I have special guest (and my ace coaching client!), Katrina Weller - a Grief & Loss Specialist, Speaker and the founder of the Grow with Grief hub.
We discussed our experiences with grief and loss, reflecting on the impact it has had on our lives and relationships. We share the duality of emotions, the ongoing waves of grief, and the longing for the presence of our loved ones who have passed away.
We dive deep into various aspects of grief, including the myths surrounding it. There is no timeline for grief, grief is not limited to death, and perhaps the five stages of grief are not a one-size-fits-all experience!

Erin Deering was looking for a bikini to wear on the beach on a second date with her now ex-partner. Craig Ellis, but couldn’t find anything under $100 that didn’t have Hawaain flowers on it. It was either Zimmerman or Billabong back then with no in-between price tag available for women. Little did she know, she would go on to start a multimillion-dollar bikini business known as Triangl – and take it global.
Today, Triangl is sold in over 100 countries and boasts 2.4 million Instagram followers. The company has reported selling around 45,000 bikinis a month, and in 2019, both co-founders were ranked on Australian rich lists with an estimated net worth of $35 million.
Since leaving the brand in 2018, Erin Deering is now a passionate Holistic Mentor, Educator & Speaker. She supports women to “feel good, look good and do good”.
I loved this authentic conversation around business, travel, family and mental health. It's such an important chat and I hope you guys love it!
I highly encourage you to stay in touch with this woman and follow her content - she inspires me daily not only in fashion but in mindset!

Arggghh Shadow Work! What is it? Despite it sounding like some dark, superstitious, witchy stuff - this is actually a form of deep therapeutic work in psychological and spiritual practices. to assist in healing and integrating all parts of you so you can live a full, whole and meaningful life.
If you struggle with relationships, especially the one with yourself, it could be a good indication that there is some shadow work you need to work on. Accepting that all of us have a 'shadow self', demons or bad thoughts, makes us a part of the human experience. You are not an exception!
Out of the darkness and into the light, I hope this podcast episode helps you in your life's journey and self-development. As I continue on my very own journey in self-awareness, I thank you all for coming on this crazy ride with me.
Enjoy!

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode has discussions around suicide.
This week I am back with an episode of my own lived experience and journey through mental health, belonging and losing my late partner to suicide.
Between June 14th and June 20th, it is Men’s Mental Health Week in Australia. In most countries around the world, men’s mental health is generally poorer than that of females mental health. More males die earlier, more males have accidents, more males suffer from lifestyle health conditions and more males take their own lives.
In this episode, I encourage you to open up and I lead by example. This episode reminds us all that it is okay to not be okay, but we must endure and weather the storms.
If you, or anyone you care for, is in need of support, please reach out to Lifeline by phone on 13 11 14 (24 hours a day) or message a Lifeline Crisis Supporter on 0477 13 11 14 (6pm – midnight every night).

This week I got to chat with my dear friend, the self-love queen, Lauren Minicozzi.
Lauren has struggled with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Depression, Anorexia, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and as a repercussion is currently battling an undefined chronic illness known as Lymes.
Through her own incredible healing, it led her to writing about her journey in the hope for females to be able to resonate with and help them on their own journeys to self-love. Her book 'A Journey to Health' is based around her experiences and what she did to free herself from the toxic cycle. To remove the shame, fear and isolation so many go through and help females find self-acceptance and body love. She's also got an amazing self-love journal which EVERYONE should have - it's super cute/pink with gorgeous illustrations!!!
Ladies (and gentleman), we only have our one bodies. Please stop looking at other bodies and thinking they have something that you DON'T! You are beautiful as you are, and you are uniquely you - it is time to own that!
I hope this podcast helps you towards that extra step to understanding YOU and loving YOUR BODY. It is literally keeping you alive!

IT'S THE BIG EPISODE 10 GUYS!!!
I am so excited that I’ve made it to the double digits in the podcasting world, so a BIG THANK-YOU to you guys for tuning in and giving me your precious time!
Being the big 10th episode, and celebrating all the small wins, I thought it would be the most perfect opportunity to make this episode a little bit different and special. Get to know me in another way by meeting who I live with - Mia!
Mia is originally from Adelaide, South Australia with an Italian background heritage. She has an incredible story, just like any of us, with a journey towards self-love, self-acceptance and owning being a WOMAN.
Tell the women in your life that you care.
Want to encourage and empower girls and women? Start right in your own home, workplace, and community! Write a note of thanks to that teacher who encouraged you years ago, pick up coffee for that new mom in your office who’s struggling to balance it all, or tell your own sister, daughter, or mother how much you appreciate them.
Excited to share this one as it's just two gals having a bit of fun in the comfort of our own homes.

Could this conversation be my best work yet on the podcast?
I LOVED this chat with Mr Dean Blankfield! A spiritual life coach and mentor who is on a mission to help transcend other's to a life of purpose and action. Dean currently resides in Bondi Beach but grew up in Perth and lived in Melbourne too. He is clear and articulate with his language and helped me understand so much about the human mind in very simple terms. This podcast is also up live on YouTube for those who want to see us visually having a laugh and giggle most of this hour. Enjoy!

So grateful I got to have this meaningful chat with Jamie Totino and talk about his life experiences and how he got into his business, Real Food Vending.
Growing up as a regular Italian Aussie kid, loving sports with his brothers playing footy and cricket, Jamie got to a semi-professional level with VFL and almost started an AFL career. Jamie left school in year 11 to work as a tradie in construction like the rest of his family.
Being fit and active from a child to adulthood, he thought surely there are better fast food options than the sausage roll at the local bakery. With that came Jamie’s lightbulb moment of bringing healthy takeaway alternatives and Real Food delivery service was born in 2017. This has now rapidly evolved into a vending machine franchise and movement. Real Food Vending is available all over Victoria and expanding nationally, with each machine dispensing healthy, mouth-watering meals with just a tap.
Jamie has also built a highly successful education business travelling the country working with business owners coaching and mentoring them to help achieve greater professional and personal success.
This was dope and you can find my key takeaways here below!

Talk about so GRATEFUL to have these guys on the show!!! I was privileged enough to be their very first guest on The Disruption Podcast (Episode 12 – check it out!) but moreover, I feel incredibly blessed to now call these guys my friends.
The Disruption Podcast is four friends having meaningful conversations around pop culture, politics, faith and everything in between. Their purpose is to challenge the norms of our generation. A diverse friendship in cultures, thoughts and opinions between each of the members yet strongly similar in values and belief systems, these four friends all met through their community church.
On this episode, I speak with Daniel, Marwa, Kalows and Noor about the very current and important topics during this crazy global pandemic time. If you're a local from Melbourne, we cover specific ideas around human rights and the patrolled lockdown at the North Melbourne flats.
We also cover key topics:
- Life in quarantine
- What faith and religion mean and how it guides our lives
- Racism in Australia and raising awareness through education
- Advice for aspiring millennials wanting to make a start on something... like a podcast!
Thanks so much to the crew for allowing me to interview them and having a deep discussion around topics I feel are super important to share. Let me know your thoughts and opinions to this episode, always open to new perspectives and ideas.
Stay safe and be well fam!

Alex Nation became a household name on our National television screens, as Australia followed her journey in love and in turn fell in love with her after she won the reality tv series, ‘The Bachelor’ in 2016, receiving the final and only rose from Richie Strahan. Since then, Alex’s career has skyrocketed and has seen her host her own community radio show on Southern FM, been an active role model and ambassador for Australian Women’s Football and become an open voice for many anti-bullying campaigns.
Her most recent work sees Alex casted as the 1926’s Miss Australia winner Beryl Mills in Channel 10’s Drunk History as well as the latest season of ‘The Bachelor in Paradise’ in 2019 which saw her return at love.
A country girl at heart to national celebrity phenomenon, Alex is a woman that inspires her community daily with her courage and resilience.
On this Episode, we dive deep into her world and talk about:
- Life before, during and after winning 'The Bachelor Australia'
- What is self-love? How do we love ourselves more?
- Sexuality and what do titles like 'bisexual' mean?
- Being trolled on social media from haters
- What it's like to be a young mum and not losing your identity as an individual too
- The things we should look out for before dating or jumping into another relationship

Episode 4, I am honoured to welcome my dear friend, Mystik Arts, a world-renowned tattoo artist specialising in script, lettering and black and grey. Mystik grew up from humble beginnings with graffiti on the streets of Brisbane, Queensland. He quickly transformed these skills from writing on trains to tattooing on skin. From a tattoo apprenticeship in 2012 and a background in business construction, Mystik has now built a lifestyle of his dreams. He works and lives on his terms with his own private tattoo studio, Harpoon and Highwater (Queensland). The studio now has 11 resident artists specialising in all styles of tattoos and has had over 60 international and interstate guests. Mystik himself has tattooed all over the world, but COVID-19 and nearly losing his partner Daniella and his son, Hunter, was a huge wake up call to redefine his priorities and focus.
He teaches us that money, business and career does not come without huge sacrifices. He gives us advice on following your passion, finding quality time with his family and the importance of human relationships and being kind.
I am so empowered by this man's story, if you ever see him at a national tattoo convention or can visit the studio in Brisbane, make sure to say hi and have a chat!

Born and raised in Melbourne to refugee parents, Roseanne Rofaeel enjoyed a comfortable childhood – but knew that her reality was not the same as others'.
When her plans to work as a missionary overseas were thwarted, she donated her 17th, 18th and 19th birthdays to build water wells for communities in Cambodia, Ethiopia and Mozambique.
She then turned her attention to the suffering she saw in her own backyard, among Melbourne's homeless community. In 2016, she founded Christmas on the Streets (COTS), a non-profit organisation that works to help break the stigma of homelessness, with the mantra: 'Homeless, not hopeless.'
COTS started with a one-off drive to deliver clothing, shoes, food vouchers, sanitary items, sleeping bags and mobile phones – and companionship – to homeless men and women. It has since grown to provide regular street runs and seasonal drives.
Roseanne is now working to extend COTS to become a national organisation to help disadvantaged people from all across Australia. A recent Young Australian of the Year finalist for Victoria 2020, I am so blessed to have Rose on this episode.
We chat all things family values, a life of service, how do we find our purpose and Rose shares some wise and important stories from the people she has met on the streets and in prison.
