Aaron's career has primarily been at the intersection of finance and technology. As co-founder and CEO at Riskalyze, he led the company to twice being named one of the world's top 10 most innovative companies in finance by Fast Company Magazine. Investment News has honored him as one of the industry's top 40 Under 40 executives.
Investing feels broken for the average investor, and subjective risk semantics like "aggressive" and "moderately conservative" don't help. We believe that when advisors align the world's investments with each investor's Risk Number®, anyone can invest fearlessly.
Riskalyze is transforming the advisory industry by empowering investment advisors to capture a quantitative measurement of client risk tolerance and use that data to win new clients, capture and meet expectations and quantify suitability.

Listeners caution: this episode may seem very controversial. Dr. Harold Bennett of Morehouse College joins us from "Introduction to Religion," a class Yohance is currently (excelling) in at alma-mater.
They discuss tithing in all forms, amounts, and how to approach your congregation when in reality, many of us can't even afford to tithe. Too often, within religious organizations, status quo or "keeping up with the Jones" is more important than personal finances and building generational wealth.
After putting yourself first, this episode will leave you wanting to give how and where you can. Again, listeners, beware: you might disagree with that regarding your church.
Besides being a Professor of Religion & the Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion, you can find Dr. Bennett hosting his show Pentecost 4 Life, Wednesdays from 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM EST; WAEC Love 860 AM (Atlanta, Georgia). The largest emergency aid relief in U.S. history was just signed into law to address the economic impact of the COVID-19. Named the CARES Act, this tremendous $2 trillion stimulus package is intended to provide relief to individuals, businesses, and industries who have taken a financial hit over the last several weeks. The star of the stimulus package is the $250 billion designated for direct payments to Americans. You may have received a check of $1200 or more just last week.
To help you better understand your stimulus payments, I'm here to answer the most common questions.

How do you handle adversity? With a historic recession on the horizon and the country trying to figure out how to reopen, there is a lot of fear and uncertainty. Yohance had a conversation with Derek Green, Regional Director for Sanofi Genzyme. Derek is the epitome of setting goals & crushing them! He shares how he survived the last recession and how he plans to grow through the recession we are in. He gives some great interview tips and as a former student-athlete, he has great advice for other student-athletes trying to navigate this brave new post-COVID-19 world.
How do we explain quarantine to a toddler? Stay-at-Home orders are especially tough for parents with young children. It's really tough to tell our daughter every day that the play-center at the gym still isn't open. : (
In this episode, Alicia reaches out to her best friend Leila Morgan. As an entrepreneur, owner of multiple businesses, wife, and mother of two, Leila has a unique experience with constant change and chaos. We are curious to learn how her newest business, Chill Nutrition - a shake and tea bar in Lodi, California, is thriving through the chaos!
Leila shares how this pandemic truly identifies the greedy versus the giving. This is our time to support one another, share the last pack of toilet paper rather than fighting over it and give without fear. Chill Nutrition is committed to supporting the community and provide nutrition to essential workers in the area.
Learn how you can help Chill Nutrition or other small businesses in your area. We are all in this together!!
What should I do first? What is the best method to get out of debt? Should I pay the highest interest rate debt first or the lowest balance?
In the second half of my conversation with Rhea Pitre, she asks all of the hard questions and I provide my best solutions. Since most of us are #SafeAtHome with Stay-At-Home orders from our local governments, what better to do than improve our finances?
I recommend taking notes and setting your Podcast player on repeat.
The majority of Americans are experiencing stay-at-home orders from local governments right now. COVID-19 has infected hundreds of thousands of Americans. 80% of the illnesses are mild; but unfortunately, for the other 20%— the results range from hospitalization to death. Quarantined with small children & family members, fuses can run short. In this episode, Rhea Pitre, (Life & Relationship Coach) discusses tips and strategies you can implement with your loved ones. Let's all do our part to flatten the curve!
In this episode, Alicia and Yohance discuss how they are staying busy with the increased time at home. We are all doing our part to help flatten the curve of COVID19.
This pandemic is possibly the greatest challenge we will face in our lifetimes. Please encourage your friends and family to do their part and reduce the rapid spread of this disease. If you don't know what to do while you are home, we have some tips for you!
Please visit the CDC website for information on how you can help fight the spread and take care of yourself.

Things are moving extremely fast. In the 48 hours since we recorded this episode, the CDC has urged the people of the US to cancel or postpone any events with 50 or more attendees for the next eight weeks. The Federal Reserve has moved the target Fed-Funds rate to 0% and launched a $700 billion quantitative easing program. As of the pre-markets, it appears we will give back the bounce we received on Friday the 13th.
Our guest is Dr. Elizabeth Fagan, an Emergency Room Physician in Dallas, TX. Liz, (as she humbly prefers), has been on the front lines saving lives in our community for more than 25 years. She is going to give us the history of Coronavirus, teach us the virus's new name, and give us tips on how to protect ourselves and loved ones.
If you are looking for up-to-date information about COVID-19 (Coronavirus), please visit the CDC's website. Please stay safe, let's #FlattenTheCurve

On March 11, 2020, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. The NBA season has been indefinitely suspended, travel from Europe has been suspended for thirty days and Americans are all over social media fighting in the grocery aisles over toilet paper.
The markets continue to digest the bad news by having the most volatility and fastest 20% drop in value in history. Welcome to the Bear Market.
Now that you have all of that toilet paper in your closet, what should you do with your investment portfolio? I'll discuss this and more in this episode.
Remember, it's just a bear market, not an actual bear in your house.
Please wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your face. If you are sick, stay home. Listen to the recommendations of local officials and the CDC. Protect yourselves and your loved ones.

Let's start with the headlines. Correction, the US Market is not in a Bear Market, it is in a Correction. Let's talk about what a "stock market correction" is and other scary terms like "recession" and "Bear Market".
It's not the Zombie Apocolypse, it's the Coronavirus, a serious disease that will cause misery and suffering for many. This too shall pass. We are resilient. We are smart. We (by 'we' I mean society) have survived through many epidemics before today. There is a good chance the large majority of us will survive this one too. Again, if it were the Zombies, there would be a need to panic, this isn't that.

Psychologically, the human reaction to a Bear Market and a real Bear in the woods is the same: fear. Our response is typically flight or fight. It's not our fault, we are hard-wired that way.
Today was a volatile day in the markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped over 1,000 points. The S&P 500 wiped out the entire gains for the year (albeit it's only February). There were roaring bears and scary big red numbers and down arrows on every news station.
So what?
In today's episode, I'll help you reframe today's events and perhaps future market drops as well. Yes, this will happen again, and again, and again. It's what the market does. It goes up, it goes down, it goes back up.
I'm not going to talk Alpha or Beta or Sharpe ratios or any other technical terms. This is about managing your emotions and controlling your behavior. I will do a little bit of simple math, just to help you put today (and other down days) in perspective.
Let me know what questions you have. Stay calm and carry on.
