For those of us that are devoted to House Music, the name Soul Central conjures up memories of Strings of Life and some absolute dance floor fillers throughout the 2000âs. Originally comprising of members Timmy Vegas and Andy Ward, the brand was retired some years ago but has now been rebadged and reinvented for the new decade.
Andy has stepped away from the production team and in comes Matt Mckillop to join Timmy to reclaim the crown that Soul Central wore when they were active in the House Music market. Never afraid to drop peak-time anthems or soulful vocals, Soul Central are unique in their understanding of how to combine a true, underground house sound with a big room party vibe. With an adventurous sound that can be both tough and dynamic and smooth and soulful, they purvey a diversity that puts them in a league of their own.

There was a lot of discussion but no money changed hands and we all retained use of our limbs.
