I first came across the Jesus Wannabeez when a video appeared in my facebook feed. The video was of a reworking of the song Reckless Love which was a massive hit a few years back. I had always wondered about the theology of a reckless love of God...I kind of get it and still wrestle with it.
I loved this version, a bit heavier and reworked lyrics. I hope you enjoy my conversation with Leo from the band about life in Mexico, how he lives out his faith and that great version of the song.

Andino the Magician - using magic to share the Gospel

I first met Christopher before I was a Christian at a business event in Brisbane. We vaguely kept in touch over the years and we re-connected after I became a Christian, we kind of found that we had this in common by chance. Welcome to Season 2 of The Canon Podcast. Journey with me as we explore the intersection between faith, culture and worship. Just how do we navigate the world we live in when it feels so divided and so full of temptation?
We are living right now in the midst of the corona virus pandemic and while we find ourselves unable to attend church in person we are in a time when we are able to still be involved online.
It has been on my heart for a long time to start what I have been calling Sanctuary Chapel. We held the first Sanctuary Chapel on the livestream on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
