Unresolved conflicts produce some of the greatest tensions in our lives. We hate them, and often do not know what to do about them. Instead of risking a broken relationship, we prefer to settle for a “false peace.” True peacemakers love God, others, and themselves enough to disrupt false peace. This is the mature, loving thing to do.
Unfortunately, fighting for true peace requires skills we do not possess. We end up in conflict that spirals out of control with dirty fighting tactics. Even with good intentions, in our anger, we sin, or we fake peace by pretending that everything is alright in the presence of sin and injustice.
While we must not fake peace, God cares deeply about the way that we have conflict with other people. He calls us to fight cleanly.

Paul's big idea in Romans chapters 3 and 4 is that we are saved by faith and not by works. But what does it look like to "have faith" or "walk by faith?" In this sermon, Pastor Tony Murrow takes Paul's example of Abraham's faith and shows how Abraham is a template a faith and works today.
The book of Romans is perhaps the greatest theological essay ever written. It converted St. Augustine, inspired the Protestant Reformation and has transformed lives for more than 2000 years. In this sermon, Pastor Michael Warren opens our series in the book of Romans with the first 17 verses.
This week we welcome Pastor Michael Kirungi as a guest speak. Pastor Michael grew up in Ggaba, Uganda - the youngest son in a family with 15 children. When he was 10-years-old, he was sponsored through the Compassion International Program and had the opportunity to complete his education. He is now the founder of Mifik Global Mission - which provides education and health services to children in Uganda - as well as an international speaker and advocate for the poor and vulnerable.
Advertising and social media preach every day: what we have is not enough, what other people have is better. This is the tenth and final commandment in our 10 Commandments Message Series, and it’s a big one - Do Not Covet.
