While Jesse had only seen the SNL sketches, Ryan had not only seen the movie many times, but even rode a rollercoaster called "The Hurler" which was themed after this film as a kid! Party on! Jesse, not being a big fan of the horror genre, and Ryan, growing up with horror films, had never seen this film, until today. Léon is a Professional. Mathilda is not. Despite being a twelve year old girl, she pleads with him to become a Professional “Cleaner” just like him. Strangely enough, with all the police, firemen, and doctors that kids brought to bring your dad to school day, Jesse and Ryan never met a Professional “Cleaner”. Weird. Inspector Jacques Clouseau, a household name, was unknown in Ryan’s household, while Jesse nearly wore out his grandparent’s VHS tape of The Return of the Pink Panther as a kid. The film is directed by Blake Edwards, the music and Pink Panther theme are composed by Henry Mancini, the role of Inspector Clouseau is played by the hysterical Peter Sellers, and is chock-full of laughs and “Minkey” business!
