Our guys hop on the phone for a second straight quarantine version of The Varsity. This time around Mike, Mike and Nick talk about the IHSA's optimism, as it sets restart dates. They also talk about what student-athletes are doing to stay in shape and train while in isolation. They also talk about some special North Shore alumni making noise at the next level.
Loyola hoops at state? New Trier Green state champs? We'll never know as organizations closed postseason tournaments in efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Mike, Mike and Nick spend the first half of this special episode talking about what could have been and honoring the accolades of some special winter teams. The second half, they try to look on the bright side of when sports may return to high schools on the North Shore and what that could mean.
