An Elanore and Gurt Tale: Book One
When you're six inches tall and can fly, life can be tough in a big persons world. What better then than to be partnered with a seven foot troll. She’s the brawn and I’m the brains, and if you believe that I have a castle to sell you. She joined the guard to gain respectability, I joined the guard to escape. I’m Gurt and she’s Elanore Fursk. Don’t forget it.
In the darkened alleys of Delvenport the discovery of a naked corpse sets off a surprising chain of events. Leads will unravel at every turn, although Elanore appears to know what’s going on. I just tag along for the ride. With the rising tide of drugs, magic and ambition that threatens to engulf our city, trouble will lurk in our every shadow. But as long as no-one puts a knife in Elanore, or calls me a girly voiced fairy then the bodies won’t be piled too high.
Otherwise all bets are off!
Our tale comes to an end with Fursk and Gurt making an unexpected confrontation in a familiar place.
All paths start to come together, as Fursk and Gurt close in on what is happening in their city.
Fursk and Gurt deal with the aftermath of the fight in the market, and with Gurt's late night decisions.
Fursk and Gurst head out into the city on their normal rounds, but even then death precedes them and follows behind.
Gurt has deal with the fall out from his decisions, and another barmaid from The Spiral tattoo is found murdered.
After the evening watch Gurt is restless, and makes a decision he may live to regret...
Fursk and Gurt head into the meanest part of the meanest part of the city, meeting a couple of Trolls in a dark alley.
Fursk and Gurt encounter a new threat. A new drug that is invariably fatal has entered the city.
Gurt and Fursk chat with Sapphire's mother, before heading home. Gurt is unable to sleep and heads to his favourite bar.
Fursk and Gurt find out a bit more about the dead girl before heading to see her family.
Fursk and Gurt visit the Spiral Tattoo and start to learn about the tattoos and Sapphire the girl who died.
We find our heroes, Fursk and Gurt, in a darkened alley. They have been sent to investigate the report of a body, and find the body of a naked, tattooed girl laying in the mud. Who is this girl? What is the significance of the strange tattoos…
