Introduction: Message of fighting coronavirus from The Water Trust, Masindi district local government and the Ministry of Health.
First verse - man Abwooli, let me make orange juice as you fry sauce, and after eating I mop the house as you wash the plates. Thereafter you go fetch water as today I will bath the children. Afterwards we play ludo, yesterday you won, but today I will defeat you all.
First verse - woman Corona has made the man settle at home and now children are enjoying time with their dads. We have stopped them from visiting neighbors so that they don't get corona.
Amooti, when we finish playing ludo let's go and plant beans. I dig the holes as you place the seeds in the holes and cover them. When we finish I shall give you a prize.

Second verse - man Staying home is not like being in prison while in the fight of COVID-19. Let's wash hands with soap and foam because that's what kills the virus. Going in public now is dangerous because there could be someone with corona, when they sneeze you take it in and where they touched, you also touch.
Second verse - woman Lets always avoid touch touching our faces because the virus enters through the eyes, nose and the mouth. You who is suffering from flu don't go in public. We now no longer allow visitors. This is now our time, let's enjoy time with our children when we are neither quarreling nor fighting.

Third verse - man Social distancing means leaving a gap, for instance, if you go to a shop or a water point. If you see someone sneezing, a cough, fever, or difficulty in breathing just know that is a sign of corona. That person is harmful and can spread the disease to all of you around them. Because of that you should report them to health facility.

An interview with Charles Kenny, a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development. As we turn the page on a difficult 2016 and look to 2017, the theme for our discussion is the case for optimism. In 2011, Charles authored the book "Getting Better: Why Global Development is Succeeding, and How We Can Improve the World Even More,” and later wrote “The Upside of Down: Why the Rise of the Rest is Great for the West.”
He has been a contributing editor at Foreign Policy magazine and a regular contributor to Business Week. Charles’ ability to be both rigorous and realistic in his analysis of the world around him while maintaining an infectious optimism has earned him praise across the spectrum, cynics and optimists alike, with his book “Getting Better” catching the attention of Bill Gates, who not only gave the book a glowing review, but who also wrote the book’s forward.
In this discussion, Charles covers many topics, including why he’s more optimistic about the future today than he when he wrote “Getting Better” five years ago, why we underestimate our global progress in improving health and reducing poverty, the potential for even greater progress in the future, and why he thinks that the US and Europe, despite the events of the last year, still enjoy the greatest opportunity in history to improve quality of life in the West as well.
