The B1G Show is an online radio show/podcast covering Big Ten football all year round. During the season, The B1G Show will be bi-weekly.
Before going onto an 11-year NFL career, which included a pair of Pro Bowl selections and a Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams, cornerback Dre Bly starred with the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. During his time in the ACC Bly was a three-time First-Team All-American (twice consensus). The Heels were 28-8 in his three seasons spent at Chapel Hill and the cornerback holds the school record for most interceptions in a season with 11 and in a career with 20. A member of the 2014 College Football Hall of Fame Class, Bly was in New York for the announcement.
In an interview at the Waldorf-Astoria Bly spoke becoming a Hall of Famer, his ability as a ball hawk and emulating Deion Sanders. The cornerback also gave us his take on the College Football Playoffs. Hosted by Daniel Mogollon (9 minutes)
Indiana Hoosiers safety Mark Murphy was honored by the National Football Foundation as a national scholar-athlete, as well as a William V. Campbell finalist at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City (December 9), which is where I was able to sit down with the Indiana product. Murphy was a four-year starter for the Hoosiers, he is IU’s active leading tackler, and a two-time first team Academic All-American. Murphy talks about being a student-athlete, the Indiana Hoosiers football program, his fandom of the Green Bay Packers (Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre), as well as LeBron James (Mark is an Akron, Ohio native), and gives a scouting report on the Ohio State Buckeyes. B1G Show Co-Hosts Lloyd Ribner III and Daniel Mogollon are breaking down the 2014 Big Ten Season with a set of quick hit podcasts. First up, will the Michigan State Spartains be able to repeat as Big Ten Champions this season? The Guys discuss the defending Rose Bowl Champs, the growth of Connor Cook, losses on defense, and how Ohio State's Braxton Miller might be the most important quarterback for Sparty's season.
With the 2014 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, we will examine what went down in Radio City from a Big Ten perspective.
We'll begin by breaking down how first-round picks Taylor Lewan (Michigan), Ryan Shazier (Ohio State), Darqueze Dennard (Michigan State) and Bradley Roby (Ohio State) will fit in with their respective NFL teams as rookies. In addition, we'll take a look at which players slipped, if there were any reaches, who are the sleepers, as well as the best undrafted free agents and players who can make an immediate impact in the NFL.
Finally we'll conclude our Draft recap show by taking a look ahead to the Class of 2015, which could be the best Big Ten crop in years.

Iowa linebacker James Morris joins The B1G Show to talk about preparing for the NFL Draft, as well as Iowa football. The middle linebacker was named to the All-Big Ten second team. He was the only player in the conference with at least 90 tackles, four sacks and four INTs this past season. Not just a star on the field, the Iowa native shined off it as well. The B1G Show is back! This week the NCAA football rules committee announced a pair of potential rule changes. One of the proposals would prevent offenses from snapping the ball until there is 29 seconds remaining on the play clock, which has received much criticism from the offensive coaches in the world of college football.
What's the motivation? Are there other solutions? How does it impact the Big Ten? We'll answer those questions and more, as well as give our take on the potential rule change.
The second less controversial rule change involves the targeting rule. The proposed change would allow the officials to overturn the 15-yard penalty when they go to replay.

One of the best linebackers in Big Ten history, the hard hitting Percy Snow was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame this December in New York City and that's where we caught up with the former Michigan State Spartan. Snow talked about joining the Hall of Fame, his Spartans winning the Big Ten and the state of the conference.

The B1G Show caught up with former Ohio State great, offensive tackle Orlando Pace, who would go on to be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft and win a Super Bowl. The Buckeye was in New York to be inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame, which is where we were able to grab him for a couple of minutes. Pace talked about getting inducted, the Big Ten Championship Game and the state of the Big Ten as a whole.

Penn State and first-team All-Big Ten offensive lineman John Urschel joined The Big Show to talk about being more than a football player, athletic stereotypes, as well as the Penn State season, including their season-ending win over Wisconsin ("better than a bowl game") and the play of true freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg, as well as his future in football. Urschel, the winner of the William V. Campbell Trophy, was in New York as a National Football Foundation scholar athlete.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are coming off a 39-19 win in their Big Ten opener against the Illinois Fighting Illini, which saw them rumble for 335 yards. Senior offensive tackle Jeremiah Sirles was a critical part of the offensive line that led the way. Sirles was a second-team All-Big Ten performer as a junior and he will be making his 34 career start this Saturday at Purdue, the second most on the team. The fifth-year senior talks about playing for Bo Pelini, the importance of being versatile along the offensive line, last week's win over Illinois and this week's contest at Purdue. San Jose State quarterback David Fales is coming off a spectacular season for the Spartans. He threw for 4,193 yards and 33 TDs while averaging 9.3 yards per attempt and leading all of FBS Football with his 72.5 completion rate. Not just a numbers hanger, Fales led San Jose State to an 11 win season and a #21 ranking in both polls. He joins The B1G Show co-host Daniel Mogollon to discuss a little college football, quarterbacking, his journey from Nevada to JC to San Jose State, as well as the Minnesota Golden Gophers, San Jose State's opponent this Saturday. In Indiana's 42-10 win over Bowling Green last Saturday, junior wide receiver Cody Latimer caught six passes for a career-high 137 yards and a TD. The talented pass catcher was a second-team All-Big Ten performer in 2012 and finished second in the conference in receiving yards per game. He joins The B1G Show co-host Daniel Mogollon to discuss the 2013 season, IU's explosive offense (leads the Big Ten), as well as his development as a wide receiver. Latimer also talks about his basketball skills (can he hand with Victor Oladipo?), his favorite IU helmet and his pregame listening preferences (think 90s slow jams). It was a rough day for the Big Ten on Saturday. The conference lost fives games, including three of four to the Pac-12. We will breakdown all of those matchups, including Nebraska's defensive debacle against UCLA, the officiating debacle in Wisconsin's loss at Arizona State, as well as Penn State's loss to UCF and Michigan's near loss at home to Akron.
