A powerful, straight forward word on the enemy; what he does does and what we need to do.
Trouble, struggles, trials and temptations; through it all the one constant is that we are never alone. We have the Fourth Man: ever ready, ever present, always at our side. Trust Him.
In Genesis, Satan is first revealed to us in he guise of a serpent. In Revelation as a dragon. He and the trouble he causes in our lives need to be put to death;...for sin shall not have dominion over you. Through the power of the Cross, we must slay the dragon.
If your desire is to live and walk with Jesus, if you are busy about the Father's business, you will receive it: A 'Macedonian Call'-when the Lord calls you into a specific work for His Kingdom-have you received yours?
Seeing Jesus means being in His presence, and there is nothing like it. There we find peace and fullness of joy. Open my eyes Lord, I want to see Jesus.
When you're trying to get away from God, there is nowhere to hide. Jonah tried it by traveling nearly 3,000 miles in the opposite direction from where God called him, to a city called Tarshish. Even the child of God can get caught up doing 'other' things in an effort to avoid God's revealed will. Let's 'come out' of Tarshish.
Do you know that you're saved? Do you know who you are in Christ? Do you know what He has done for you? These are only some of the questions we need to know for sure. If you cannot answer these questions with confidence, your enemy the devil will try to bring doubt and confusion. You need to know that you know.
Is it possible to be with Jesus, around Jesus, hear Him speak, spend time in His house and still miss out on everything he has to offer? Absolutely. It happened to Judas and it's still happening today. A powerful word about being so close, yet so far.
The need to not be held down by long held ideas and attitudes...the powerful conclusion.
Whether it's people, ideas, or long held lifestyles and attitudes, if we want to grow and move forward in life, some things have to be let go: these things are like boxes that keep who we can and need to be shut in. Time to get out of the box!
When Jesus died on the cross, not only did He make salvation available, it also gave us the right to come before Him boldly in prayer. With the veil in the temple being torn in two, it signified the divine access that we now have to the throne of grace.
It is a fact that in this life we deal with and go through things that we simply do not understand. That's how it is now, but then, when we see Jesus, the veil will be lifted. We see through a glass darkly now, but then...hallelujah!
Do you want to be used by God, and feel inadequate? Maybe you say, 'How can God use me?' If you simply give God what you have coupled with your passion for His will, you'll be amazed at what God will do through you. God can use anyone...or anything. Even some old clothes and rotten rags.
With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it's easy to forget about what it's all about. Take a step back, and remember what and who it's all about-Jesus.
There's no need to hold on to a heavy burden. We are instructed to cast our cares upon Him. Once he has it, just leave it there.
There's a lot of confusion about what salvation is. Many think that it's synonymous with attending church. Not so. Here are the facts, presented plain, simple and to the point.

Sin is a deceiver, and most of all it's a killer. A message about the dangers and effects of sin, and how to get out of its way.
In spite of everything that may come our way, praise must not be far from us. A powerful word instructing us to praise God no matter what. Do you have a 'yet' praise in you?
We need to remember never to operate in opposition to the will of God - no matter how right it might seem to us to do otherwise.
As we travel along this life, we need to pause a make sure we are doing the Master's business and not our own...handle His business!
It's necessary to rid ourselves of anything that would entice the devil to our lives...we must starve him out!
