In the final hour of this mornings Tipp Today we had our cooking slot with Paddy Fahy. We then spoke to John O'Brien about his upcoming fundraiser which is an Alzheimars Seminar at Cashel Mart. We were joined by Bernie Walsh to hear about the aftermath of the Mock Wedding which took place over the weekend. We also spoke to Tommy Marren about his new play which has been touring Ireland for just over two years, 'Nobodys Talking to Me'. Finally we spoke to a caller from Terryglass about the protest taking place outside the County Council offices in Nenagh today in relation to the conditions of the roads in the region.
In the second hour of this mornings Tipp Today we spoke to John G O'Dwyer about The Murphy Collection. We then listened to Fran and Jumpers trip to the vets. We also spoke to Tipp Deputy Alan Kelly in relation to the Nation Planning Framework and Broadband. We then spoke to David Shanahan and Paula Carney Hoffler from Tipperary Chamber.
In the first hour of this mornings Tipp Today we spoke with Ronan Quirke about sport news from the weekend. Then in relation to the topic of home owners arming themselves to protect their homes and families we spoke to a man about his experience of having a gun pulled on him . We also spoke to Joe Leahy about the proposed abolishment of solitary confinement in prisons. We also spoke to a caller in relation to Match day traffic and parking in Thurles.
In the final hour of this mornings Tipp Today, Fran spoke to the outgoing Tipperary Rose Shiela Ryan who was live in studio. We also had our friday panel with solicitor Kieran Cleary, Deputy Editor of the Irish Farmers Journal Caitriona Morrissey and one of our listeners Paul McCarthy where we discussed the topics of whether home owners should arm themselves in order to protect themselves and their home from intruders, if we have become a passive nation that won't protest and if we still value saints in modern society.

We then spoke to a listener about his opinion on the comments made by Tipperary Councillor who believes that householders should all have firearms in the home in the event of an intruder. We also spoke to County Board Secretary Tim Floyd about the closure of the sports shop at Lar Na Pairc in Thurles.

In the second hour of this morning's Tipp Today we had our weekly legal slot with Gillian O'Mahoney. We then discussed the governments go-ahead for a referendum on abortion to take place this year. We heard both Pro-choice and Pro-life opinions. We then welcomed bride to be Eileen Boland back to the show to talk more about her mock wedding in aid of Motor Neuron Disease.

We also spoke to Cllr Micheal Lowry in relation to the 21 million euro allocated for maintenance and upgrading of Tipperary roads. We then spoke to a resident from Terryglass about their ongoing protest in relation to the conditions of their roads. We were then joined by Cllr David Doran and caller Mick O'Brien who voiced very different opinions to the question whether or not every household should have a legally held firearm following yet another attack on a rural householder.

We spoke to solicitor Cian O'Carroll about the tragic deaths of 2 members of a Tipp family, for which the HSE apologised last week. We spoke to Cllr Hughie McGrath about the problem of derelict buildings in Nenagh and we spoke to Emma Byrne from the Tipp for Choice group on the criticism directed at some sections of the campaign for using pictures of people with disability in the campaign material.

Jonathon wants to develop a horse care rehabilitation in Irish prisons, a project which has the support of the Turf Club.
