Song Sketches
These covers are sketches. They’re all done fairly rapidly - within 1 or 2 hours, some fewer - and without regard for absolute perfection. Nearly everything has been recorded on an iphone 7 in garageband. No real recording equipment was used. Percussion consists of whatever I happen to have on hand.
I use these songs to develop a personal style like Still Life Painting. Some of the originals I love, some I hate, but I made all of them my own. In turn, they are teaching me what I sound like.
