This week Katherine Sotelo owner of @DippedbySathy joins Manny and co-host for the evening, Ariel Vice, for the Bakers in the Kitchen Drinking Coffee Season 4 inaugural episode. Erika started off by doing cakes for family and friends before finally selling her first cake about a year later. Ro Zinniger is owner of Ro Z’s (pronounced Rosie’s) Sweet Art Studio. Ro is short for Rosie, which is short for Rosanne. A native from San Diego, near San Diego State University. Her father /grandparents immigrated from Northern Italy, and her mother/grandparents from Palermo Sicily. She was raised in her Italian grandmother’s basement kitchen, where she learned how to bake Biscotti, Italian cookies, and how to make ravioli’s and other yummy Italian dishes. With $300 and while working full time jobs these two ladies have brought their two favorite things together alcohol and cake. They have now made over 250K cake pops and counting. Listen to how they got to where they are and where they plan on going.
