My show is about discovery. I want to impact, empower and uplift you to discover and utilize the gifts and talents you are blessed with. Through your new journey of rediscovery, they will learn to use the gifts to discover your purpose and use gifts to serve others, your community and yourself. It doesn’t matter if you have a dark past, lost a loved one, been through a divorce, lost a job, been an addict, been in jail, have come out the closet or are transitioning out of incarceration. All of these circumstances require individuals to alter their old behaviors and habits and start over. My goal is to engage the audience to encourage them to share their successes. My hope is to help your pendulum start to swing in the direction of hope, harmony and peace. Our show serves as a voice to those who do not have a voice of their own and have lost their way. Hope, harmony, and joy is possible. Become your most authentic self and share that with the world.
Domestic Violence is a silent killer of the soul. Many relationship start off with the thought this is to good to be true. Before long blame is placed on the women and this escalates to verbal, physical and emotional abuse. The trauma suffered in an abusive relationship gradually ramps up. It slowly drains you of self worth and alienates your support systems, leaving you feeling trapped and miserable. ( E. Lockert, 2013) Todays guest is Tracey Osborne a survivor of rape and domestic violence. Tracey is on a mission to empower women on a global scale through her company Daring women. Tracey wants to be a voice for those women who have lost theirs. Perseverance is to continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success. Everyone has had a moment when they had to make a choice. A choice to keep going knowing they may not have the positive outcome they were looking for. If you ever found yourself in this situation, then join me Tuesday 5pm lets talk about it!!!!
Starting over is always scary. It involves being ok with the unknown. You have to truly trust God and allow yourself the room to make mistakes, learn, grow and stretch. Having the understanding and recognizing that sometimes it takes many times starting at square one before you really get it. From that moment you enjoy the experience and create your best life.
Life is like the game of dodge ball. The opposing team or the devil and his principalities work against you. He will rush to attack you with all his might. He will use everything he has to knock you out the game. Sometimes you will get hit, sometimes you will deflect and avoid his attack. However, you may get knocked off balanced, but still be prepared to handle what is thrown at you. You may get knocked out the game all together and find yourself on the sidelines. Eventually, you will return to the playing field to continue playing. All in all, you should never give up, keep trying, use your team when your down, have a plan of action and always play to win. Never give up!!
Letting go and releasing your past is the key to living a life of clarity and peace. The rate of return we receive holding onto our past is simply comfort and filling a void. We have a tendency to remain stuck as a justification of our current state. All in all, holding on to the past has no benefits and eventually stops us from realizing our full potential. Hello and welcome to the very first episode of “Get Ready.” Today I will share with you what created the undying drive to pursue my passion.
This journey has motivated me to make it my life’s mission to help others discover their innate driver.
I’ll be sharing how several tragedies in my life including a near fatal car accident forced me to realize that my “words” are my purpose. I believe we all have a gift to offer the world and we must use it. The goal of this episode is not only you getting to know me but also a mission of self-discovery.
I will share what drove me to Go after my purpose, while uplift, impact, and empower you to realize you too have a purpose and you matter.
