I had the pleasure of recording and mixing an acoustic performance of his song Fire. It didn't take long for how special it was to sink in. I grew very fond of it and felt it had electronic potential.
mickmon went to work, constructing artificial hooks, rearranging the original song. The result is an 80s style synth pop ballad which allows Fire to burn in a whole new way.

“The end of non-digital music” is the theme. The interview of Jim Morrison speaking of the future of music was the root idea on which I based this track. I reinforced his idea by actually using machines, tapes and an electronic setup to create music. The prediction he made fifty years ago came true because of technological innovation, an innovation of music which I like to contribute to.
