After a valiantly fought battle with cancer, Channing Cathell Walker left the body she no longer needs and landed into the healing arms of her beloved Lord on August 25, 2017. "Good and faithful servant," was whispered into her heart. jChanning was raised in Midlothian, Va. She graduated from Monacan High School and attended both the University of Georgia and Peace College. She was passionate about sharing the Gospel of Christ and helping others, both within and outside of her community. She traveled the world doing missionary work in Brazil, Mexico, India, and in Nepal, serving others in the same orphanage founded by one of her heroes, Mother Teresa. She was actively involved at Messiah Christian Church, WOVEN (Women of Value in Every Nation), Christian Women Connection and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), where she worked tirelessly to shine the light on mental health awareness. Channing will be deeply missed by family and friends and especially her husband and love of her life, John. However, we can all be reassured through her own words after learning of her illness, "It's a win-win! If I get to stay, I get to love on all of you, and if I go, I get to be with Jesus. I can't lose!"

Jesus is the Answer with Channing Walker will be a show where I share transparently from my very dramatic testimony or life story covering specific topics such as mental health, addiction, and cancer. I will be drawing constantly from my personal journey through these struggles as I am led by the Holy Spirit of God. My two greatest teachers were Jesus through decades of suffering and brokenness. I will be drawing from scripture, Christian books, and other believers that I have broken bread with and shared in deep fellowship. My hope is to passionately share out of the broken places of my life and encourage you beloved that you can overcome mental hospitals, jails, promiscuity, addiction, and severe torment etc by the everlasting love of the Lord. His love never, ever, ever fails. Jesus is the answer for you today beloved!
