Education: an immigrant owning ones family and then becoming acclimated to the new cultural and community.
The American privilege creates both an economic and cultural disparity in contrast to our immigrants; however, our history of the US is one of immigration as the seeds of that privilege of those born here. The plethora of immigration groups has created a significant tapestry of divergence with each group facing different and unique challenges, but yet there has been much convergence within a context of both helplessness and uncertainty.
