Are you happy?
Join us as we kick off "Summer in the Psalms." For the rest of the summer, we will reflect on and apply a Psalm each Sunday.
The Psalms are beautiful for endless reasons. For one, they are the God-given prayers for God's people, including Jesus. Imagine the fact that Jesus grew up, lived and breathed the Psalms.
Another reason is that the Psalms flesh out in stark honesty what happiness through all the highs and lows of life looks like for the Christ-follower.
Are you happy? Let's look to the Psalms together to learn God's definition of happiness.

The First Letter of Peter Living as Exiles in His Marvelous Light
Jesus calls us to a unique perspective on life here and now and after this life. He asks his followers to see themselves as sojourning exiles. God’s people, from Israel to the early church, are not strangers to this life perspective. Jesus himself declared that his home and kingdom are not of the present history and world. But an exile is often uncomfortably living in counter-culture. Thankfully, the Spirit has left us the first letter of the apostle Peter. He teaches us to live this present life as spiritual exiles by faith--for and toward Christ--even as we long for our final, perfect and eternal home. Join us as a fellow sojourner as we journey through the first letter of Peter!

The First Letter of PeterLiving as Exiles in His Marvelous LightJesus calls us to a unique perspective on life here and now and after this life. Living in a pluralistic world, coupled with treasured traditions, it’s easy for Christmas to become something entirely cultural and ritualistic, to lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas. In fact, there’s a clear and obvious push in our culture to remove “Christ” from Christmas and reduce the season to agnostic “happy holidays.” Join us during the season of Advent as we return to the true and joyous meaning of Christmas found in Luke’s gospel. As the beautiful Christmas hymn says, “Be born in us today!” May you be glad and rejoice in Jesus, the Christ of Christmas!

Let’s get refreshed in Trinity Grace’s vision. Our vision is Jesus, himself. He is our aim and goal. Why? Because the person Jesus Christ is the gospel of God. God’s grace has been poured out to us through his Son. The grace of Christ overflows into a new culture, a new community, and a new city. Our part is to be glad in Jesus’ new culture, to belong in his new community, and to be a blessing as we build and look forward to his new city. Join us Sundays every September as we revisit our church’s vision.

New Year, Renewed You
What in your life would you love to be new? Our culture likes to say, “New Year, New You” and around this time, the new year is a reset button where you can reinvent yourself and redefine yourself. But for Christ followers, we believe we have already been made new when we united ourselves to Christ who made us a new creation. The process of being made new and growing into that newness has already begun. So, day by day, with God’s grace, through scripture and applying the Word, we are renewed.
New Year, Renewed You, Same Gospel, Same God, Same Steadfast Love of God, Same Jesus.
