SEASON 5 EPISODE 20 King Jordan Radio welcomes back Former Attorney for Jodi Arias ,Kirk Nurmi the long-running Arias case massively screwed up the Arizona lawyer's life. When the televised courtroom drama became a worldwide sensation, Nurmi became a target of public hate for defending her. While working at the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office in 2008, Nurmi's supervisor handed him the Arias file, telling him, "It's a unique case." Nurmi saw immediately that the murder case was complicated, and he found out soon enough that Arias was a difficult client.At first, he wasn't worried. At 49, he was in good health, having shed so many pounds between Arias' two trials. He even had self-published a book about his weight loss.After undergoing surgery to extract the lump, however, Nurmi was told he had non-Hodgkin lymphoma.Shock soon was replaced by near devastation. "Within the course of a month or so, I had gone from a guy who felt great and was planning on getting back to work after a few months off to a guy that had non-Hodgkin lymphoma," he recalls. Born James Wiley Smith (he’d later legally change his last name to Snuka), he hailed from Fiji and left a career in bodybuilding to pursue wrestling in 1970. A naturally charismatic character with a chiseled physique, Snuka found success performing around America and Japan before debuting in WWE 1982. Snuka was famous for taking to the air at a time when wrestling was almost exclusively done on the mat, and despite his character initially being positioned as a villainous foreigner, his athleticism and acrobatics made him a fan favorite. WWE is not giving the briefcase to Del Rio after making the Sheamus mistake last year, and Cesaro simply does not have the mic talent to either hold the briefcase or eventually become champion. Jericho would be fun getting the contract, but he's still a part-time performer. Zayn would be the surprise choice, but I don't see WWE being anywhere near ready to let him hold the title (unless their plan is to have the winner be a rare MITB cash-in failure). Ambrose is the expected winner, and while he theoretically would be the right choice to play mind games with the champion, he could very well be in the title match at SummerSlam without the briefcase. That leaves me with Owens, who is over despite his heel character and has the perfect persona to carry the briefcase for months on end. Prediction: Kevin Owens wins

Former WWF superstar "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka -- a member of the WWE Hall of Fame -- will be charged with murdering his girlfriend in an incident that happened 32 YEARS AGO.
Officials in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania say the 72-year-old will be charged with 3rd degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.
Investigators believe Snuka killed Nancy Argentino following an attack in a motel in Allentown back in 1983.
Snuka has already been arrested -- he was taken into custody at his home in NJ earlier today. He's been booked. Bail has been set at $100,000.

To update Sting’s current contractual status with WWE, F4WOnline.com is reporting he has yet to sign an actual wrestling deal with the company.
As of now, Sting has a merchandising contract in place with WWE, and also has the WWE 2k15 deal, but there remains no change in his in-ring WWE status.
Despite the above, WWE officials remain confident the two sides will work something out and Sting will compete at WrestleMania 31 next year.
Paglino: I know the value of Sting at WrestleMania 31 has dropped slightly now that The Undertaker’s streak has been broken, but I’d like to see him in a WWE ring just for the sake of seeing Sting in a WWE ring.
Sting not wrestling with WWE is akin to Shawn Michaels not wrestling with WCW, and it’s just one of those things I would like to see happen for the sheer spectacle of it all.

PWInsider.com is claiming that former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray has finished up with the company. His contract expires soon – if it hasn’t already – and TNA was unwilling to give him the kind of deal he was hoping for. Insider’s report states that Bully told the locker room he wasn’t planning on signing a new deal with the company, and that his performance at a recent live event would be his last. If true, this is more bad news for TNA. I understand the contractual issues, as they desperately need to cut costs, and he’s probably at the top of the pay scale with Angle, but they will have lost Bully, Sting, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, Kazarian and a host of other really talented performers in the last year alone. He’s one of the last big names remaining, and in just a few months it’s likely Angle will be leaving as well. According to IGN.com, the new WWE2k15 video game will have both a “MyCareer” and “Showcase” mode, and the following are more details.

Brighton Beach Avenue, the main street of community of Brighton Beach was a sea of people, young and old, weaving in and out of the hundreds of stories featuring various Jewish and Russian delicacies. A medley of Russian and Jewish music filtered out of the Russian coffeehouses that lined the streets which nurtured the aroma of hot bagels and knishes. It was 1933. The depression years were waning and the war was yet to come.
Sara Koza was an attractive 18-year-old with compelling deep brown eyes. Born of Russian immigrants in Harlem, her mother had died when she was 8-year-old of TB. Her father, Jack was forced to put her and her brother who was two years younger into an orphanage until he could establish a home for them. Jack met Frieda, a young nurse from Russia and they were married. Sara's father was a gifted musician and joined the Goldman band as the lead trumpeter. Sara and her brother, Sam, were taken out of the orphanage and reunited with their father and new stepmother. The Koza's, due to the father's talent flourished during the depression years and Sara had a new sister and brother to concern herself with as the oldest child. As she walked the streets of Brighton to the subway in 1933 she felt a sense of excitement which reflected in the blush that crossed her cheek and her buoyant stride. TNA President Dixie Carter came forward on Twitter today to state that negotiations with Spike TV are still “ongoing”, implying that just because a deal hasn’t been struck, does not mean there won’t be one made in the coming weeks. This comes after our report yesterday that Spike TV did not want to renew their deal with the wrestling organization, leaving Impact Wrestling potentially homeless if a deal could not be reached with a new network soon. While this is technically true, and TNA would obviously love to remain with their network, it’s still being said – and confirmed by dozens of sources at this point – that Spike has very little interest in pursuing their relationship further.
