Some more NBA and NHL playoff talk! As well as our opinions on Dan Hurley turning down the Lakers' huge offer to be their next head coach. Are the Oilers doomed? Is Jalyen Brown really the Celtics' best player, per Jason Kidd? Is Carlos Alcaraz going to be able to last through his injuries? All this and more on this episode!

P.S. Sorry about the shaky audio quality at times. I'll do my best to edit the lags out but some parts may be super sped up because of that.

Happy New Year to all! This is actually a great episode that gets into the weeds of the whole Florida State being salty conversation, so buckle up! But before that, we've got some unfinished business to take care of with the NFL MVP award as well as a few teams that surprised us and disappointed us over the course of the NFL regular season.

We're back!!!! After being gone for what seemed like an eternity (we know you guys missed us and were waiting impatiently for our return), the brothers have found their motion and come back to talk some football (with a little basketball and baseball sprinkled in).

P.S. If you're still hating on Patrick Mahomes, you're a casual. That's all I'll say.

In this episode of FDRD, Matt gets into a long discussion about the frequent shortcomings of both the Dolphins and Cowboys, and how similarly their teams have fared against good and bad competition. Then, we cover the Bengals' convincing win over the Bills on Sunday Night, noting that this is definitely not the same team from the beginning of the season, and how there might be something brewing behind the scenes in Buffalo.

Finally, it's time to explain why Michigan won't face any punishment regarding its sign-stealing scandal. They may have cheated to some extent, but it seems like other teams were in on it. Even if the NCAA does try to bring legal action, Matt gets into why this process ultimately won't work out. And, above all, with Michigan being one of the best teams in college football this year, any form of punishment would result in the worst case scenario for all parties involved... they don't make as much money!

Hope you enjoy the episode! Please leave a review on the show and let us know what you like or what we could improve on going forward!

Then, we hit on the Texans and Colts who had surprising upset wins over much better opponents this past weekend. Then, we transition into college football, discussing Ohio State's close victory over Notre Dame, Colorado's loss (and why this is not such a bad thing), as well as Clemson's close loss to Florida State and why Clemson's future is in doubt if they are not willing to utilize the transfer portal going forward.
