Inspired by the 2017 Co-Liv Conference in San Francisco, Scott Cooney renovated a multi-level house in Hawaii to develop a small version of an intentional community. His community includes multiple shared spaces, both indoor and out, a permaculture garden with rain barrels, and a net-zero energy home. Tenants can do work trade, to help address affordable housing issues.
Scott Cooney is a big fan of co-living for sustainability and community. He is a serial eco-entrepreneur, with startups including CleanTechnica and HomeEfficiency.com, and the author of two books.

After becoming a mum, she founded an award-winning Deli, joined CampbellGray Hotels, established her project consultancy firm QANNIK and in 2020, co-founded NeuSpace. She believes in learning and sharing knowledge via collaboration.
Lyuba Sorokina is an entrepreneur and guest experience expert with a passion for hospitality, travel and innovation. In 2009, Lyuba and her partner founded Soul Kitchen Hostel - a multi award winning hostel recognized for its quality and experience - which became a co-living space in 2020 in partnership with Smena Station.
Patrizia Zueck gained a degree in International Hospitality Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, and professional experiences working at the Dolder Grand in Zurich, Sydell Group in New York, NoMad and The Line brands. She'll be opening a hotel as Pre-Opening Sales Manager of Zoku Vienna, an innovative home-office hybrid.

Sandra joined Co-Liv in September 2020. She led a service design project that aimed to understand what could best serve coliving professionals, and what initiative can be created to empower them through a new service that Co-Liv would offer.
With Gui Perdrix, our director, they launched the Co-Liv Onboarding Program, a new membership service dedicated to empowering more coliving professionals and connecting them to the right people, resources, and initiatives.
After only two weeks of the launching of the newly designed service, Co-Liv already doubled in yearly member revenues and grew their memberships 4x faster than in previous months.

This roundtable discussion aims to help break this stigma and provide awareness, education, and ultimately, prevention of sexual assault in coliving.

Lucy McInally presents her work with the City Region Deal at Stirling Uni defining intergenerational living/design and its differences from co-living, how this may be a long-term solution for industry/brands making a difference with co-living.
She also analyzes the co-design framework which relates to her Masters work at the Glasgow School of Art + Glasshouse CLD Intergenerational Cities event that executed this methodology, the Assemble Studio case study, and how she facilitated her own workshops in response to some issues in Glasgow. Researchers, writers, and activists such as Caroline Criado Perez (author of Invisible Women) have drawn attention to how everyday items and public spaces are designed for men more often than we might realize. As coliving spaces lie at an intersection of public and private space, do the same biases apply?
