Edward Stapleton
Mr. Stapleton, English teacher from the Academy for Health Careers in Brooklyn, NY, leads students in his class in readings and discussions of poetry, and together they build poems inspired by the ones they read.
Mr. Stapleton and his glorious seniors (Madina, Monica, Felicia, and Carolyne) read, analyze and emulate the poetry of Langston Hughes, and his poem "Let America be America Again."

Today Mr. Stapleton, along with seniors Madina, Monica, Felicia, Carolyne, and Delron, come together to read the poem "The Journey," by Mary Oliver, discuss the underlying meanings, and create poems of our own.
