In this episode, I explain why you should be saving your work and I then recap all the rest of the things discussed in previous episodes. The most important thing you need to know: SAVE! YOUR! WORK!
Now that you are saving more, where do you save it? Computer? Cloud? Print it out? I go over many different ways to save your work in this episode. If you are saving it to just the computer, then you have a higher chance of losing your work and never getting it back if something happens to the computer.
When do you save your work? An honest answer is not enough. I talk about when you should be saving your work and things to consider.
Face it - We've all been there when we have lost something valuable we have been working on. Be it writing or anything else, it disappears at the most inopportune time and there's no way to get it back. It's gone forever and you have to start over. This is why I'm doing this series on saving your work.

Your image can be the most amazing thing ever, but without a title, it is a pretty picture. I go over why you need a title that will catch the potential reader's eye and then combine that with the awesome image and the book blurb on the back. Not one thing will make the book sell, but the title will help.
This episode is all about why you should be wary of what you title your book. It's smart to use something from what you are writing and I'll explain why.

Sometimes life has a way of changing on you. That's no different for me as I started a new job and other life events. But, with that new job came some new challenges and I need to make sure that I'm successful with that job. Plus the life events have made it I also need to focus on those as well. That said, the podcast will be taking a break for April and May. I plan on being back in June.

The last episode of this season is upon us and it is also the last day of the post NaNoWriMo episodes. This episode will talk about how you should try and keep the momentum going that you gained while doing NaNoWriMo and what to expect when I start season two of this podcast at the beginning of January 2021.
Three days after NaNoWriMo and you might be wondering what you should do next. I'll go over some helpful hints and suggestions as to how to proceed with what you wrote during the month of November
In this episode, I'll be talking about why you shouldn't be too hard on yourself about how many words you were able to write.
December 1st and that means the day after the end of NaNoWriMo. How are you feeling? Did you feel you finished? What about if you didn't get to 50,000 words, then what? I'll go over all of that today.
Day 30 and that means it's the last day of NaNoWriMo. Did you make it? Did you hit 50,000 words? Today is all about you and the huge undertaking you took and where you go from here.
29th of November means the 29th day of NaNoWrimo. That means you are one day away from the end of this challenge. How are you feeling? How's your word count? Make today count!
Only a few days left in this month which means only a few days left in NaNoWriMo. You have to push it to get as many words as you can in for this project and try to hit that 50,000 word goal. I'll be encouraging you all the way through this episode to get it done!
With today being the 27th, that means three days are left in NaNoWriMo and you need to be working to get every word you can. 50,000 words in your goal and do whatever it takes to get there or as close to that mark as possible!
To all my American friends and those who celebrate on this day, Happy Thanksgiving. It's the 26th day of NaNoWriMo and November, and today is all about being thankful for the ability to write words, be crafty, and my thankfulness for all of you.
Final days of NaNoWriMo are upon us! We must get all the words we can before the end of November. I'll explain how this can be done.
It's Day 24 of November and also NaNoWriMo and today we are in the final week of this month and this project. It's all about making sure that you get everything written you can and doing all you can to get the words down.
It is day number 23 of NaNoWriMo and today we are talking to those who have finished already and have hit that magical number of 50,000 words. If you have - GREAT! If you haven't, keep going!
We are in the single digits now and you only have days left until NaNoWriMo is over. So much further is it? I'll go over all of that and more in this episode.
We are getting closer to the end of the month and the end of National Novel Writing Month. Today we are talking about what it means to get closer to that goal and how to keep the momentum going.
Day 20 of NaNoWriMo is here! In this episode, I discuss how conversations can be one of your biggest tools and friends when it comes to writing. In a spot that you can't get out of? Have a conversation. Need more ideas to work with? Have a conversation. Don't think you are stuck or doomed where you are in the story. You just need to have a conversation.
In this episode, we are on Day number 19 of National Novel Writing Month and I'm going to explain why you need to ignore the spelling mistakes you make. This is not easy, and I have a trick I want you to try.
We are now on day number 18 of NaNoWriMo and it's getting to be to the point where you know you will finish or you will certainly try. But, what do you do with characters that won't talk to you or are being difficult? You find a way to make them talk and I'll explain how.
Day 17 of NaNoWriMo is here and I want to know if things are getting easier or harder for you at this point in the challenge. If it's getting harder, I'll give you some insight and helpful hints and suggestions as to how to get yourself back on track. If it's getting easier, then you are on the path to success!
It is day number 16 of NaNoWriMo which means you have hit the peak and midway point of the month and challenge and are now coming down to the end. Ride the momentum and keep the words going. I'll go over why you need to make sure you don't run into anything that could make you fall and end up failing and how to avoid them.
We made it halfway. Or rather you did in your writing project. Day 15 of NaNoWriMo is here and that means you are now heading into the latter part of the month and the last 25,000 words to hit that goal of 50,000. I'll explain how important it is to make it to this point and why you should feel proud of what you already have accomplished.
It's day number 14 of NaNoWriMo and you are in your groove (hopefully), you have everything going and you want to write all the words. But what does that even mean? I'll explain that to you in this episode.
When it comes to NaNoWriMo, one of the hardest things any writer has to face is editing while writing. You just don't have time to edit if you want to get your word count in. I'll explain why this is hard to do and how you can resist that temptation to edit your work.
On day number 12 of NaNoWriMo, you might be thinking why I would say you are almost there. I'll explain in more detail what this means and why you should be thinking it too.
Day 11 of NaNoWrimo is all about finding that groove. It might be music, food, exercise, a muse, but something has to get you into the groove that helps you write. I'll go over your groove, how to find it, and how to keep it going through the rest of the month.
The 10th day of NaNoWriMo is upon us and that means we need to be at or above 16,667 words. Not there? You might feel you need to panic, but don't do that just yet. In this episode I'll explain what panic at the paper means and how to avoid it.
We are now at day number 9 of NaNoWriMo and by now you might be getting a visit from the dreaded nemesis, Writer's Block. I'll go over how you can work your way out of its grasp faster than normal and get your words flowing once more so you can keep going on your project.
With one week past us, we are now into the second week start and I'll explain what that is and how to keep going in this quest for 50,000 words by November 30th.
You are now seven days or one week into NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month and should have 11,669 words on your project. Don't have that? It's okay. Have that or more? That's okay too! I'm going to go over your seven-day checklist to see how you are doing. In this episode, I will go over why you might be having problems already this early, how to solve them, and still make the 50,000 words by the end of November. I will also go over what you can do to keep going if you have hit your stride, and much more!
This is a big milestone for most podcasts as it is the 50th episode, but I feel that because I'm all about the writing, I need to keep focused on what the really important thing is, and that is NaNoWriMo!

We are now 5 days into NaNoWriMo and today I am going to talk about taking a break. But not quite the breaks some might think you should.
It's day number 4 in the NaNoWriMo challenge and today it's all about that magical number of 1,667 words. That's all you need each day. Seems easy right? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I'll explain.
It's day 3 of NaNoWriMo and you are thinking you have this thing in the bag and you will hit that 50,000 words by November 30th. Hold on a second. It's only day 3. You have a lot of month ahead of you and I'll explain what you might see later on this month if you aren't careful.
It is Day number 2 for NaNoWriMo and you might be thinking you are off to a fast start. The words are there, the idea is great, your just on your way to winning this thing. Well, hold up and be aware you want a solid and good start, not a fast start. I'll explain why in this episode.
