On this episode my guest, Love Nwokocha, and I talk about expectations based on promises people make and how they often end in disappointments. What we know in Nigeria as "Promise and Fail". We also considered how we often let this feeling of hurt translate to our relationship with God whereby we ask things of Him but with a doubt in our hearts as to if He'd answer or not.

Self pity is a dark pit that we sometime put ourselves into or let the enemy put us in. It usually starts from an act of sin we commit. Even when we know better. We become so ashamed of what we have done and so we beat ourselves up about it. For some, this feeling of shame drives them far from God's presence. For others, they come to God alright but it's different. They are so ashamed of what they've done that they just can't believe that God has "let go" and forgiven them. I'm here to ruffle your feathers a bit and take you out of that comfort zone. Come out of self pity!

I have no idea why I'm letting this recording go public seeing as it is unrehearsed, unedited, not-exactly-coordinated but, I guess that's what you'd be getting. Real, raw, unfiltered content. I'd be literally just sharing pieces of my life story with you, as it goes. Enjoy!
