This is me being very honest sharing how I got through some difficult times with the chorus of a song I used to sing every night for two months after my heart was broken. You are more than the fear you face, the talent you have, the heart break you endure. You are more.
It’s easy to get caught up in social media and seeing all the famous people who have the platform to be able to influence people- and knowing we don’t have that same power. We think we’re not as important or we will never be chosen by God to spread his news in that hUGE WAY. But remember Jesus went to the fishermen and shepherds- they were his disciples. He chose them to spread what he learned from God and build his churches. God can use anyone. Not just the most obvious ones.
An original I wrote a few weeks ago! Thinking about times before words were said, if some things were never said a lot of pain would have been avoided but also a lot of joy would have been. God has a plan for you all- with good and bad. Take the good with the bad:). Hope u like it !
Being grateful through the good and the bad is hard. I’m not going to lie, but it is so rewarding. If we are grateful for life and God during the hard times- just imagine how EASY and amazing it will be to be grateful when you are being blessed. There is always ALWAYS something to be thankful for. You are able to read this, 1. You can read, some can’t, 2. You can see this, some can’t, 3. You can hear what I’m about to say on this podcast, some can’t, 4. You have the technology to be able to access things like this, some don’t. 5. GOD loves you ALL.

I wrote this from my perspective but I want you to listen as if it’s from YOUR perspective. I’ve always pictured flying as the height of awesomeness. If I had a super power it would be flying and I generally have a lot of sky and clouds imagery in my music because of that. I’ve always imagined flying above the clouds as the best of the best. So freeing, like you can conquer anything if you fly. I’m seriously jealous of birds, guys. But this song is about STRENGTH- and knowing that you CAN DO IT if you put the work it. Again, I wrote it from my perspective but when you listen listen as if you’re the one singing!

This song is about how I feel with the ones I love. I love SO deeply sometimes, that it makes me think that simply because I feel as if I love MORE than others, that they do not love at ALL. Which is so incredibly far from the truth. You are LOVED! So am I!

As Christians we experience what are like spiritual HIGHS. We crave them, and generally they come in the summer. But we must remember not all faith is going to feel like a HIGH. I’m going to talk about some ways I grow closer to God EVERYDAY and ways I remain connected to him and my faith.

Psalm 139:12 says even the darkness is LIGHT to God. We can’t hide from God. But yet we try to. We think that by not asking for help, by keeping it in-we think that THAT is strength. We think that figuring it out on our own is strength. It is not. Accepting that God sees you even when you think you’re hiding from him, and accepting his HELP- His LIGHT- THAT is strength. We try to hide in darkness but there’s no such thing to God. He knows you, please stop hiding-you’re only hurting yourself-and that’s the last thing he wants. ❤️
