As we are learning about three different types of relationships: healthy, toxic, and abusive; we need to understand what components make up those types of relationships. If you think about it we are never sat down and taughtthe difference between these three types of relationships. There was never a class in school that taught us what healthy relationships look like. We are not taught what patterns of behavior are healthy or which ones are toxic. No one tells us thatverbal, emotional, and mental abuse are just as damaging as physical abuse. No one teaches us from a young age how to see the red flags of an unhealthy, toxic, or abusive relationship.

That's exactly what this series is for!

Today I’m going to give you the 12 key components of ahealthy relationship.

  1. Honesty

  2. Respect

  3. Trust

  4. Safety

  5. Communication

  6. Cooperation

  7. Independence

  8. Accountability

  9. Boundaries

  10. Support

  11. Equality

  12. Conflict Resolution

Join me and let's overcome through grace together!

As we learn about healthy relationships we first need to pour a sturdy foundation. That foundation begins with your personal relationship with God so you can get to know who He truly is. Once you understand who our Creator is you can begin to understand who you are because of whose you are.

In 2018 Megan published a devotional, You Are- Trusting God to Define Who You Are. Sharing her own struggles Megan takes you on a journey to trust God and allow him to define who you are despite what you may think about yourself, what others may have said to you or about you, or who you have become because of your life's circumstances. You can find her book here- YOU ARE: TRUSTING GOD TO DEFINE WHO YOU ARE.

Let's get the foundation poured so we can start building healthy relationships!

Here it is a podcast shared with all my heart and all my soul. It's me taking the opportunity to use my outspoken, unfiltered, raw, and sometimes too bold of mouth to share all about what God wants me to. From things I have experienced in my life to help others who can relate or have been through similar things. From my faith, my family,my ministry, and my career. All different. All separate categories. Yet all me. All a part of my everyday life.

This week we will discuss what women need to know about being a Christian.

Women need to know what being a Christian actually means, not just the religious specifics and traditions but the relational aspects.

Women need to know salvation does not make life easier.

Women need to know that we are able to worship and connect with God outside of a church building.
