According to the CDC (2021)
1 in 11 females and 1 in 14 males have experienced physical dating violence. 1 in 8 females and 1 in 26 males have experienced sexual dating violence. 26% of females and 15% of males who have experienced sexual or physical violence and or stalking by their intimate partner first experienced this abuse before the age of 18.
