In the book of Matthew Jesus was showing His followers how to prepare for His second coming. As the Parable of the wise and foolish virgins tells us that we must have our lamps ready for the wedding party.  As the groom goes off to build a house for his new bride, which could take months to build, the bride and the bridesmaids must remain ready until till his return and that what Jesus was telling us, that He the “Bridegroom,” will be back for a spotless Bride.. Me and YOU!  Will you wise or foolish?
