In this segment, Co-Founding President of Pelorus Equity Group, Rob Sechrist, explains in detail, The Pelorus Fund, a dedicated commercial real estate lender structured as a private mortgage REIT with monthly distributions and a target annualized yield of 12% - 15% IRR.

Pelorus has deployed $538M in the lending sector since 2016, comprised of 73 transactions with 38 payoffs. The Fund launched back in 2018 with the lending strategy of senior secured notes collateralized by real estate properties with personal/corporate guarantees from the sponsors.

Pelorus is taking advantage of mispriced credit caused by the lack of liquidity in the capital market caused by the dislocation between State and Fed policies to generate above-market returns. The Pelorus Fund REIT dividend currently qualifies for a 20% reduction in the Fed tax rate for investors.
