Today, we are discussing how children’s media corporations condition young people to internalize destructive gender stereotypes. We’ll first focus on traditional Disney princesses, but then we’ll also be taking a look at modern day Disney, like the live action movies and shows found on Disney channel. In this deep dive, we hope to answer some questions about how the media can shape our perceptions of ourselves and the world around us.
