Should we raise our hands in worship? This question ariseswhen we consider worship in the narrow sense: singing as an assembledcongregation. Although lifted hands most frequently occurs in the context ofprayer, there is a strong Biblical basis for physical expressions of praise. The“should” part of the question is guided by context and conviction. I workthrough these principles with hand raising as well as clapping and dancing.
