We recorded an episode of the Wide Open Air Exchange in front of a live audience at the Powerhouse Museum a few days ago presented by 2SER 107.3FM. It was a great experience and that conversation is being broadcast by 2SER in two half hour episodes across two weeks from tonight at 630pm AEDT.

In Part One, DJ Soup describes his early experiences experimenting with developments in audio sampling technology from a double cassette boom box to an Amega 500 and a K2000 sampler.

DJ Soup also shares his early musical influences in the family and some of the first records he recalls hearing and playing.
