"Start Doing What IsRight... "

Psalm 42:11

Why are you in despair, O mysoul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yetpraise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Comparing the acts offorgiving and forgetting, I think forgetting is the tougher assignment. Why?Because forgetting is something shared with no other person. It's a soloflight.

All the rewards are postponeduntil eternity . . . but how great they will be on that day! Forgettingrequires us as Christians to think correctly, which means our full focus mustbe on the Lord and not on people. By God's great grace, it can happen. Let usask ourselves, Is there someone or something I have refused to forget, whichkeeps me from being happy and productive? Am I a victim of self-pity, livingout my days emotionally paralyzed by anguish and despair? It is never too lateto start doing what is right.
