October. 1932. A cave in the San Pedro mountains is blasted in. Upon searching the cave, amateur gold prospectors stumble upon one of the most mysterious human remains ever discovered. Native American legends tell of "little people," supernatural beings with immense strength, that used to wander the world and re-shape the land at their will. Is the San Pedro body just another tall tale of a deformed human being, left to naturally mummify in a cave? Or are the Native American stories true?
