Cohen’s poems and essays have appeared in a wide range of literary publications including The Georgia Review, The Harvard Review, The Indiana Review, Ploughshares, Poetry, Prairie Schooner, and TriQuarterly. Disloyal Yo-Yo is his first collection of poems; another book of poetry, Swerve, is forthcoming from Black Lawrence Press. He is a recipient of an individual artist grant from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism. Born in the Bronx, New York, educated at the University of Arizona, he now lives with his wife and three sons in Connecticut, where he directs The Counseling Program for Intercollegiate Athletes at the University of Connecticut in Storrs.
