Have you ever heard somebody say this: "I've got a problem"? Most of the time, when you hear people talk about their problems, they are focused on only talking about the problem. Wouldn't it be more productive to put more focus on the solution to the problem instead? I want to encourage you to put problems down on paper so that you can actually see them, act on them, and make a decision. It’s not about being right or wrong, but rather finding the highest probability of achieving the desired results.
I wanted to take today to talk about the importance of leading a group of people and how it's not only about what leaders tell us, but rather their behaviors and actions. When leading, I placed significant emphasis on accountability, consistency, and trust as essential elements to consider. With this in mind, let's get into six ways that you can take action to improve yourself as a leader and your business.

Your mind, your body and your soul.
In today's episode, I wanted to touch on how to get more referral business. You have resources right in front of you that you can't even see. I bring up the example of how everyone has at least 200+ contacts in their phone. At least one of those people in that list, whether its their friend, chiropractor, co-worker could potentially benefit from your product or service. So why not ask?
Don't be afraid to ask your existing customers for help. Let's go out and get some more referrals.

It's #NEVER2LATE to make a change.
In order to be successful, you should look back at what you have accomplished in the past. Remember when you bought that car or finished high school or college. Remember how good it felt and use that feeling to motivate yourself to achieve new goals. It's important to read and listen to positive things about yourself so you can stay focused on solutions instead of problems. When you are faced with a difficult challenge, find a mentor who can help you find a new solution. Stay committed to your decisions, never give up.
You should set goals for yourself and work towards solutions to achieve them.
When it comes to sales, follow up is key. If you don't follow up, you're going to lose the sale. It's as simple as that. However, follow up doesn't have to be mundane or unoriginal. You need to be creative with how you follow up, and it's important to be consistent with your approach. Don't just keep asking if they're interested in your product or service. Get creative and find out what they're interested in. Speaking to them on their level will help you close the sale. Follow up is essential, but be creative with how you do it.
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Ask yourself; are you trying to make a sale or are you really trying to solve someones problem? Today I wanted to share with you some thoughts and expand upon Maslow's hierarchy of needs and how that relates to your business and solving peoples problems.

You ever had something happen at work, in your relationship, with your family or friends, and you take it personally? Why do you act that way when something hits you personally. It's always about me, me, me. And you want to be right. And the reason you want to be right is because you have an emotional connection to that thought, idea or joke, so you took personal. I wanted to break that down a bit today and share with you the reason you take it personally and how to stop taking it so personally.
I wanted to take today to slow down, zoom out and talk perspective. Are you taking responsibility for your life and where you want your life to go. Are you taking responsibility for your thoughts and your actions? Tune in, and let’s take a deeper dive into you. What we are going to focus on is building a list of contacts and potential prospects that that you can become a master inviter. I want to share with you 15 sources, groups/communities, or ways that you can tap into and expand your contact list. And the list goes on…
Today I wanted to talk to the point of trust. Building trust in yourself, building trust in your team and building trust with the people closest to you. Today I just wanted to share a pocket full of ideas about how to improve and leverage yourself. You’ve got to use ALL of your strength. And I mean ALL of it. You need to leverage your contacts, your network, your skills. Are you taking time out of your day to sharpen your axe? Do you feel like you are just doing the same things day after day, taking a crack at the same rock? Are you really taking the time to develop yourself? Have you tried asking for help?
I wanted to take today to have the opportunity to talk to YOU. How are YOU, really? I want you to take a personal inventory, and what I mean by that is analyze the different parts in your life and see what needs more attention. What, perhaps, needs a little bit less attention? Take a look at your inner dialogue, your attitude, your habits. Change is ultimately up to you, and taking a deeper look into yourself gives you self awareness to make change happen.
What I really wanted to emphasize today, and I’ll say this in the podcast, is the difference between the pain of regret and the pain of disipline. I wanted to really harp on the concept of building a “get-done list” instead of a “to-do list”. What this is all about is building discipline and building those good habits around accomplishment and acheivement. There is a big difference between being busy, and producing results.
I have this one principal that I live by; that being that nobody can do your pushups for you. Today I wanted to share some thoughts with you about putting in the effort and doing what it takes to accomplish your goals. "Don't be upset with the results you didn't get, from the investment that you didn't make" Are you ready and willing to do what it takes?
Today I wanted to share with you something that I’ve learned over the years about how to audit, analyze and pick apart your business to try to perfect it or make it better. These are some key areas in your business that you should actively be taking a look into, to really have a good understanding of where you are headed, and how you and your team are going to accomplish your goals.
I wanted to take today to talk to you about execution and following through with your goals, following through with your intentions. Many people say they are busy, but I'll take it a step further and ask, "are you just doing busy work, or are you actually getting things done"? What I call this is confusing activity with accomplishment. Because sometimes we find ourselves very busy but frustrated at the end of the day when we feel like we didn't accomplish as much as we had hoped or planned on. Grab a chair, and let's chat a bit about how you can execute in your life and how you can inspire your team to execute along with you.
Business doesn't have to just be all serious, now doesn't it? Remember... variety is the spice of life.
Sometimes your expectations are simply too low and your people haver the potential of greater and higher performance. Don’t set your expectations too low, make sure your people have goals that match their potential. This doesn’t just apply to team building, this applies to every aspect of YOUR life. Don’t let your expectations cap your potential and don’t let your goals and expectations be the apogee of your team’s maximum achievement.
Today I wanted to share a little bit about management and expectations. We are going to take a deeper dive into how your expectations affect your team's performance. Ask yourself, what is it that you want from a team of people? And then ask yourself, are you a director, or a delegator? Tune in and let's go over the difference between the 2 and how to reset your expectations to accomplish your goals for your team.
