Abinadi was a prophet called to preach repentance to Wicked King Noah and his people who were no longer following His teachings.  His warnings made the wicked priests and the King angry.  They plotted to kill Abinadi.  Abinadi told them not to touch him until he had finished delivering the message God wanted him to deliver.  Abinadi sealed his testimony with his life.  Everything Abinadi said came true.  We are promised if we follow the prophet they will never lead us astray.  Follow the Prophet!
