In this thought provoking chat we sit down with Arturo Elizondo, CEO of Clara Foods.  In his early years he grew up in Mexico and the USA.  He had first hand experience working in Washington DC for the US Department of Agriculture. Which regulates all the slaughter houses in the country with the Food Safety Inspection Service.  It blew his mind that over 1m animals are slaughtered every hour in the US alone, to feed less than 5% of the population.  Ultimately all coming without improvements to human health. Then after reading about how animal agriculture contributes more greenhouse gases than the entire transportation system, he knew he had to do something.
