Brown women work so hard and invest decades to do all the right things. Despite following the perfect checklist to do everything the way she should, she's still not happy. I have been down that path of doctor, wife, daughter and mother- and totally get it! I am a certified life and parent coach after a career change from an exhausted, overwhelmed, unfulfilled four decades. In this podcast we discuss how South Asian women look happy on the outside but are suffering on the inside. These women feel ashamed to admit it because they think they should just be grateful.
I bring forward topics that exist but have been brushed underneath the rug for centuries. Some of the topics include the over-involvement of our families in our personal lives and the constant habit of doubt ourselves before making decisions to avoid making a mistake. It's time to change the trajectory of your life now and generations to come with the coaching tools I share and teach.
I coach South Asian women in my private coaching program and currently accepting new clients. Book a call to connect and inquire about availability.

Ever been called an alpha woman?
I was because I have opinions, I speak up and advocate for what I believe in.
Men call women aggressive, bossy, opinionated and loud when they don't know how to react to women who no longer stay within the boundaries that they have created.
The added layer of a Brown woman weighs down in a unique way. Humility is a virtue keeps you from self promoting. Who wins in this situation?- They do.
Join me as we discuss how we can support other women in the professional spaces.

Have you ever been judged by your appearance?
I remember being told that since my skin was darker that I should wear more muted colors to compliment my skin tone. Sounds nice- right?? Nope- that comment made me avoid wearing bright colors for three decades.
What subtle messages are you believing that aren't true? In this episode we dive deeper into colorism in the brown community and how it applies to more than skin color.

What does being BROWN mean?

The only way to get results, be consistent.
Especially when it doesn't feel "good" or comfortable, follow through.
In this episode I discuss why we rather opt out but being an adult involves doing things when you're not 100% bought in.
Where have you been consistent in your life? What results would you like to create in your life? What will it take to get where you want?

In this episode we explore Marie Kondo's method of decluttering but instead we apply it to beliefs, experiences, coping methods, and habits. Allowing yourself to thank the beliefs of the past AND choosing not to include it in the next chapter of your life is a choice.
I help my clients create awareness around their subconscious beliefs that have driven the way the've showed up in their lives AND process all the emotions around it. Once you have awareness, making conscious decisions becomes a lot easier, not necessarily easy. Finally, you get to be intentional about creating joy in your life, the one you worked so hard to create.
Join me on this beautiful journey.
We are usually pretty good at showing gratitude to others. But how often do you stop and thank yourself?
It's so easy to skip over appreciating all that you do and create but there are so many benefits to pausing and being grateful.
In this episode, I share all the ways we already care for ourselves but may not acknowledge it.
Start a new habit to vocalize or write down what you're grateful for in a daily basis and see how you experience more positivity in your own life without doing anything new or different..
Double standards exist because of culture, tradition and habit. The patriarchy lives on despite modernization and education. The root cause is expectation by others, expectation of others and the expectations we put on ourselves.
In this episode we will dive deeper into what we can do to create change.

So many times we find ourselves trying to tough and it out and "doing it on our own" because we are so strong, smart and independent. Maybe this idea was helpful at some point or you had no other option but I'm here to tell you that's a choice.
Doing it yourself doesn't get you where you want to go always and more importantly what does it cost you?
Listen to this episode on why we do it and more importantly why it's not helpful or true. Asking for help or choosing you will feel uncomfortable in the beginning but it will get you where you want to go faster and with more ease.
