Somewhere there is a balance between being a martyr that takes on doing everything at the expense of our mental and physical health and being selfish, narcissistic and not caring about others.
Where exactly that line is, is hard to say. I asked Estelle Poiré, Glady Baradaran and Craig Leonard why putting ourselves first (not even at the expense of others) often has so much guilt attached to it.
