The podcast launch conincides with the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) - in some parts of the world better known as Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) that runs from November 25- December 10 (Human Rights Day). I thought it fitting to start by talking about some of the misconceptions around gender based violence while addressing gender-based imbalances.
