It doesn't matter about the last 10,20 kilos that you lost, because if you quit today, none of that matters because you're going to end up right back where you started. So, all these accomplishments, people are so set on thinking about all the things that they've been able to achieve in the past or they haven't been able to achieve, and they suddenly think that it defines what they're going to be able to achieve. Just because you're on track to achieve progress or you've been able to achieve progress in the past, none of that matters if you can't hold on to that today and tomorrow. So, for me, I knew that there was no way I was going to quit. I just needed to get through it. That was the most frustrating part. The frustrating part was I can't relieve or relieve myself of distress and overwhelm. I can't just switch off. Because when you quit, you switch off. You feel stressed, like, oh, you know, I'm going to give up. Don't have to deal with it anymore. And then you distract yourself, maybe go drink and go party, whatever it is, and then you end up right back where you started. Okay? So, most people, when they go through these moments, they break. They break because they consider quitting. Quitting was always an option for them. I think when they come into the journey at the start, it's the language and the internal dialogue on how they speak to themselves. And maybe they're like, well, I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to try. That's what all my clients say when they first start. And they're like, yeah, I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to try. And that is your first step to failure. Because when you say that you're going to try, you're accepting that there may be a moment where you're going to quit. If there's going to be a consideration when you quit, when you go through adversity and you face challenges, it's going to validate your wants and your desire to quit, because in reality, people want to quit because it's uncomfortable to continue. That's being honest. Your mindset is like, I found, and it needs to be solid from the start. Coming into your journey, you need to decide from the start whether you're going to go to the end of the line or not. It has to be a decision that you make from the start, and then you make it all the way through until you get to where you need to be.
