once you understand your workload, prioritize it based on the things that need to be done today, this week, next week, next month, etc. And actually, going through that each and every single day. Part of your morning routine, part of your management of daily activities, to make sure you're clear on what that needs to be done today. If you don't have a productivity software of any kind that manages your items that you need to do, you're setting yourself up for failure because you're keeping everything in your mind. And if you're keeping everything in your mind, you're not able to 100% execute your mental capacity to complete the work at hand because you're spending your time worrying about the other things that need to be due. That needs to be done, that are due. Wow. If you have everything set up, clearly you can just focus on the things that need to be done today. And sure, there still might be ten things that haven't been done, but your time to rest and recover today so you can do those things tomorrow, is going to allow you to manage that workload. Does that make sense? So, number three is using someone as support. Having support, whether it be your friend, your partner, a mentor, a coach, whatever it is, utilize support. And I know for me, when I get stressed over, I keep everything to myself. And this is something I learned working in a corporate environment. It had a lot of work, a lot of expectations, a lot of obligations that you need to get through. And when there's a high amount of work, I would just sit there and I'll just think like, I have so much work and I'll try to reach out and ask for help, but I wouldn't even know how. That's why having a productivity software is so important, because you can be clear in terms of what needs to be done and then you can potentially delegate out and seek support on the items that you need help. But communication to the ones around you who are providing you support is imperative to making sure that you stay afloat. Otherwise work that's overdue is going to stack up and you're going to feel like really behind. And this is also relevant to your fitness goals.
