Set goals both on a macro and on a micro level. Ok, think about where you want to be in five or ten years. Believe it or not, I had this thought when I was 25, 24, 25. And I always thought I want to figure out and know where I'm going to be in my life by the time, I'm 30 and that's not just going to happen. You're not just going to turn 31 day and suddenly have an idea of where you want to be and have everything figured out. A lot of people go to quarterlife or midlife crisis because they leave everything to the last minute. They spend their youth and their years in their prime partying and doing all these stupid shits. And by the time that they need to figure out where they are, it's too rushed. Fine. At the 30 they realize that they wait for the last five, six, seven years and they're not getting any younger. They're suddenly competing with people who are a decade younger than them, with more experience, with more drive, more motivation. And then they start to accept their identity in terms of who they are and then their efforts start to go downhill. You don't have to be successful, but for you to know where you're going to be by the age of 30, you need to figure out where you at least try to find your path of success way before that. So, I figured that when I was 24, whatever I had to do, whatever I was doing next had to be Endgame. It had to be Endgame. So, I'm very fortunate that I had that time where I didn't have a job and I was just smoking weed at home all day because it really gave me time to reflect and think about what it was that I wanted to do. I think 18 is way too young for you to decide what you are going to do for the rest of your life. I chose civil engineering. I was pressured into choosing it. It was still my decision but I didn't want to disappoint my parents. I was good at math’s and physics so I thought the only logical thing to do and the thing that was most lucrative in terms of my other parts and opportunities was civil engineering. Maybe go work in the mines. I can earn 100 and 5200 thousand dollars a year and I chased that money because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.
